I always keep my ibanez wh10 v3 in the box after playing but I can slight hear a scratch you can hardly hear it so I've just left it I've only had it 2 week it's not bad at all it happens it can't have a scratchy pot because I always put it back in the box after playing.
I did the same but, once I put the pot back, now it works reversed (treble and bass in the opposite way of the original range). What did I do wrong?. The wires are connected identical as yours in the pot lugs.
Oops, I conveniently failed to include how the pot was still entirely unusable afterwards and that this attempt to clean it was a complete waste of time.
That sucks. What brand was it? It shouldn't get scratchy to quickly, unless it's in a hostile environment where dirt might ingress. I'd be tempted to take it back for an exchange. Thanks for watching!
I have a cry baby with a fastel cap in it and its 2 years old yet has never left the house and is not really used very much...Anyway it is all scratchy now and I'm guessing its just dust that settles in it..It really has not been used much at all..I use my rotovibe all the time and they were bought together yet it still sounds great...They need a rubber boot over the pot...
too long winded for my taste. Next time think about what you want to say, write a short script and make a short video with all relevant information witout aaaahm and repetition.
Thumbs up for the Doctor Who reference!

Hey there pal, it's unnecessary to take it all apart and desolder.

I mean sure, if you can make it, it's nice, but a new pot is 12 bucks, so
