Jackson is the most well mannered and intelligent 2 year old I've ever seen. He is so advanced for his age and very polite you two are such good parents.
Hanging out at home might not be everyones cup of tea but for me I enjoy watching y'all doing regular types of stuff!! Thanks!!
HOA's are the worst. My grandparents just recently moved into one, and my mom had to re-paint their front door twice because it wasn't the approved shade of green. When comparing the shades, it is literally comical how nearly identical they were. The HOA must have a lot of time on their hands and walk around with a paint sample card.
If they are run by a company, which most new communities in Florida are because they are still building homes, they intentionally make rules like that to generate revenue based on fines 🙂
Yea we constantly get fined in ours in miami for literally anything it really sucks.
And that my friends is why you don’t live where there’s a HOA.
@@JeffGeraldFishing Right. They're getting much, much harder to avoid these days, though. Especially in places like Florida and Arizona. I live in the midwest, and you don't see too many in my area, but if you want anything newly built (which is what my grandparents wanted), you can bet it'll be in a neighborhood dictated by an HOA.
I never seen any young kid being so polite until I saw Jackson! He is so affectionate and sweet.

When we are relocated for my husbands work the first question that I ask is if the house that we’re looking at is in an HOA. If it is we’ll move on. I’ve never heard of an HOA that isn’t power hungry.

As a teacher I just wanted to say what an amazing job you are doing with Jackson! He is articulate and expressive and at his age is doing very well! You are already doing all the things I constantly ask parents in my class to do here in the UK! He's a very lucky boy, you let him explore his interests, explore his ideas, and make his own choices. Amazing !!
In California, you can rent paint sprayers and other tools from Home Depot. Not sure about Florida, but it might be worth it to look into for future projects.

Look into florida hoa laws. In mississippi violations have a 2 year statue of limitations. In your case your garage door has been same color for at least 2 years and not been flagged for violating before, nothing the hoa can do.

The HOA better be covering the paint! If it was the same color when you purchase the house then it’s under them not you. Do not put out a penny!!!

Talking about the A/C. At our house, here in FL is ALSO THE SAME. Crazy how cold is been (we love it), even being set a a higher temperature in the thermostat. I haven’t even request the annual cleaning because it’s working awesome. Hahahaha. You know they say: “If it isn’t broken…”😂👌🏼
Jackson's memory is forming as he attached novel experiences to ones he has experienced. This is how we all make memories. There are sensory memories that form much quicker and differently though.

It’s usually an HOA standard that the garage door should be painted the same as the body of the home or trim colors of the home so it doesn’t stand out.
That was one of my daughter's favorite books when she was young. She is now 33 yrs old. We have passed the book down to each of our children and her son too.
Omg... I had perfection when I was his age and was bigger with more pieces over 20... All geometric shapes and loved it. I can't believe that shrunk it down to that... Get him to watch Darkwing Duck....
I remember getting both Perfection and Superfection for Christmas. My cousins and I would play those games for hours. 😊

I believe you may benefit by looking into Montessori teaching tools. Quite a few of Jacksons interests fall into their way of teaching. Congrats to you guys....he is a great kid, and going to be a very loving and empathetic big brother. ❤
Ah HOAs, the joys... Lol. I had cut down a couple of palm trees in the front yard because they were getting too tall to maintain and close to the house. They wanted me to replace it with ones the same height I had just cut down... And the paint colors allowed for the house were stored in Sherwin Williams. Had to use that exact color or else.... Fun times... If you want to plant mango trees in the backyard there's a nursery I used to go to in Winter Garden, Our Kids Tropical Nursery. Larry has lots of different mango trees and different other plants to choose from.
It's fantastic that you are teaching your son such great manners. My parents drilled it into my brother and I, and I can't even tell you how many times people appreciate common manners. Even at 40 lol No reason not to be polite!
Make HOA paint the garage door
It will really blow his mind if you explain that when they ship fruit they make it ripe on the truck to make sure that when it gets to you its not passed ripe. Its just perfect.
I dont know how easy it is to get but there is an actual ChickaChickaBoomBoom plush that you can get to make the book a hands on activity for Jackson. My mom uses it with her students and they LOVE it!

They are hand held, rubber different shapes that have bubbles that you pop from both sides
I went to Montessori school when i was younger, its really fun they let me in to the big kid area when i was interested in what they were doing. They even taught us different languages,if i had a kid and could afford it id put them in a Montessori school/daycare.

I HATE HOA’s for this exact reason! You moved in with the door painted the color it is. My house, my choice. I could understand if it was in need of fixing but not because of the color

This Perfection game must be for younger kiddos because of how the pieces are bigger and there’s less of them, and the board is smaller! The original board is definitely bigger with lots of small pieces

Was that Jackson's first time seeing a mango in a tree? Maybe Jackson remembers the mango because it was in its "natural habitat" vs the blueberries that he probably is used to seeing in packaging.

When I was a kid I had perfection and super perfection, my perfection was bigger and had more pieces, I'm sure Jackson would eventually get with Tim or Jenn all the pieces in, and I love the potty timmer, I had never heard of that idea... love the home vlogs

"have to give a shout out to the air conditioner" LOL, just bought a house in SW Florida and this really hit home. We currently have single pained windows and are waiting for our new hurricane windows to arrive (sometime in November). They will help greatly to insulate our home and keep the cool air in. I pray daily to the AC gods and offer up sacrifices to keep the AC chugging along until then.
I constantly craved Mexican food when I was pregnant with my son. My spice tolerance was also high too.
We also tried the cheeseburger spring rolls. So good and the dipping sauce was really good too. When my family moved to Florida the 2 things they missed were Chinese Food and bar pizza. We have thin crispy delicious pizza in the north. I guess that makes up for the cold weather? Lol.

Yes Daredevil!! We are getting a new show in 2024 possibly picking up where the original show left off. Definitely my favorite out of all the 4. Try to watch Jessica Jones afterwards, she might be in some of these new shows as well.

Yes Tim my son is blind and he uses his cane to tap sounds for distance and he clicks his younger to hear vibrations or claps his hands. We call it his radar.

I am very happy that I do not have an HOA. My neighborhood looks great and people are free to do as they please with the properties that they pay for. The only rules we have to abide by are the ones of City code. One of my neighbors has a mural painted on her garage door and I love it as it’s a sign of freedom of individuality.
I was told you shouldn't have queso (soft cheese) when your pregnant. Or is it prepared differently? I avoided it all when I was. But I was paranoid as I lost two before my rainbow baby
Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist are all great shows. I highly recommend. Sometimes they will each make an appearance on each shows once in a while. And later get together on The Defenders.
