    Course Attributes:
    Pros:
    1. Easy to learn for beginners and intermediate level players;
    2. Presented in a layman's language;
    3. Coming together with very well annotated Master PGN files.
    4. Coming together with supportive docs containing chess principles that may help you;
    5. Tested against real games using the Lichess Masters Database.
    This is the first and theoretical part of a two-part video series on the Tennison Gambit, which you can employ to play against players rated 0 to 2300.
    Click on the link above to watch the second part of this video where I played some random chess players on Lichess to demonstrate how powerful this gambit is.
    The Tennison Gambit, named after Otto Mandrup Tennison, is a chess opening in which White gambits a pawn. The ECO code is A06, and the opening moves begin with either the Zukertort Opening: 1. Nf3 d5 2. e4 or the Scandinavian Defense: 1. e4 d5 2. Nf3.
    It is such an under-appreciated gambit, yet it is strong enough to defeat even some advanced chess players, particularly in Blitz and Rapid chess.

    Not gonna lie but I’ve watched enough videos on UA-cam but you explain it much much better than the videos I’ve watched. You make it pretty simple Thankyou! Glad I came across your channel.

    at 2:11 you're not really attacking the e4 pawn as your d3 pawn is somewhat pinned as you lose castling rights after QxQ. So next move by black usually won't be exd, but rather h6, right? can you address line ?

    At the point you left off 3:23 you can easily lose your own queen in a couple of moves.

    But the second time and third time against them, they have prepared a lot and they have something to refute it. At least I beat them once or twice before they beat me. I'm 1740 plus...

      The "hope" gambit is flawed and only works in bullet/blitz I guess. Players above 1700 should see the two correct moves after the Ng5 move.

      Black can easily play Bd7, followed by Nc6 which proves to be a savior in that position. He will be fast and ahead in development.
