As I lay here in bed, in my childhood home, I think about all of our childhood friends that my brother, sister and I grew up with. We and our next door neighbors are the only original owners left. All the kids have grown up, sold their parents home and have moved on. One day we will be gone and our neighbor too. It just brings tears to my eyes to think about it and this song reminds me of days gone by.

The song brings back such memories of youth, for the last two and a half years of schooling we where never apart and life was perfect then almost overnight it was finished, there followed 2 years of utter depression them one day out of the blue I met my partner of 53 years. Life is strange you think it is bleak and suddenly all changes. Regardless I would never change those early years and a little piece of my heart is there for the girl who came first into my life.
