Thomas, You are awesome and you owe no apologies. Thank you for sharing your music with us. I keep hoping you'll come to the states so I can see you live.
The soloists, in order, are: Andy Haderer - trumpet Bryan Davis - trumpet Thomas Gansch - trumpet Herwig "Hank" Gradischnig - tenor sax. Mario Gonzi - drums
@tgale867 Well, it's based on the same changes as "I Got Rhythm" and lots of jazz musicians know it on that account. Same thing with the Woody Woodpecker Theme.
I just found this, Thomas. You probably know by now that even when you fall from your standard heights, you're still an inspiration. Perhaps moreso because we see that you're human! And just so you know, the couple of times you think you phoned it in are just part of the patina of 'great' you all achieved. Wonderful music. Thank you.
Eh, I respectfully disagree. Andy Haderer lays it down. The band is absolutely smokin' in general, but that opening solo just burns! Don't get me wrong, he played fantastically, it just seemed Gansch got a little disoriented in the dust of his own solo. Besides, Rhythm changes just scream for bop, bop, and more bop.
Forget who's better than who, they're all superhuman,... but how often do you ever see so much talent together having so much pure FUN?!?!
Lowestret
Merci de cette mise en ligne que je découvre aujourd'hui, Andy Haderer est excellent! Comme Gansch & Roses également!

He'll be at the National Trumpet Conp in March 2010. Takes place at Geroge Mason University.

schade das der Herr Gansch außer Betracht gelassen wird.
klingt nicht wie ein little bigband, eher wie eine ganze. sauber!
sounds like that crap has a gold brick in it to me.
