@@Kaitri I believe Mikayla started SaveAFox by buying an old turkey farm for $60k and converting it into a fox sanctuary. She brought the land in rural Minnesota in 2017. Prices are probably more expensive than back in 2017 but land is affordable in rural states compared to the big popular cities. Merri the assistant manager of SaveAFox is looking to buy a place to start her own sanctuary and she said it will require a deposit of $60k plus $20k for fencing and enclosures. It is a dream of many to buy your own land away from the big city and grow your own crops and be semi sufficient.

I have a mole above my right eye. One of the ruffed lemurs at the zoo where I volunteer tried to get it off me once. He got on my lap, grabbed my head with both hands and gently started nibbling on it. He got noticeably annoyed when he couldn't get it off 😅
