Well, I must say, you two are living proof that dreams are 99% labor and 1% everything else. It's simply amazing what you have accomplished. It gets me so inspired it's hard to know where to begin. Love ya!! xoxo from Ohio
Love the tray tables, they look fantastic. I would like to build on for my backyard. Bing Bing is just letting that deer know there are no deer allowed, doing his/her job.
Being in a flood plain and losing our garden last year to flooding, I was growing despondent over what to do this year as far as a garden was concerned. I asked Yahweh to guide me in my upcoming decisions, and lo and behold, look what I find! My nephew and I, just yesterday, were talking about raised beds, but how to build them without them becoming waterlogged again this year?!? All praise to Yahweh and His guidance that brought me to this video of the PERFECT raised garden beds. I can't wait to see what He has panned for the rest of it!! Thank you so much for making this video and sharing with us! I will be going to Facebook to see the plans for building. We may "tweek" the design a bit to hold tomatoes, potatoes, etc., but these are perfect for what they are designed for. Thank you again and all praise to Yahweh for his blessings! Shalom and Blessings from NE Missouri!
I just watched their videos on growing dwarf bok choi in long, well-drained plastic containers that fit perfectly on these container garden tables, as well as their video on growing full-sized bok choi in 5-gallon buckets. All of the drainage and elevation provided by these tables should be perfect for an area prone to flooding. Highly recommend those videos!
I love watching your videos. They are very encouraging. I can't wait to see what you do in your new garden. I am in the very early stages of putting my own garden together. I think I can use some grow tables too. You get one guess about what they will look like! Thank you for sharing your skills and knowledge!
Thank you so much guys, I dreamed all my life growing my on garden but never thought it was possible until I started seeing your videos. Love it both are truly amazing. God bless.
Have learned so much from the two of you!! Containers, grow tables, seed starting, planting, harvesting and preserving. Miss Nancy I hope you will do more fermenting videos and preserving demonstrations. So happy that your dream homestead is coming together so nicely!! Keep up the good work and the awesome videos!
Lots of hard work starting over, but the rewads will be there. Thank you to the 3 of us for sharing your story with us. May the Lord bless you in His abundance.

Hollis I was just watching your video from Virginia on how to grow radishes. I bet you guys are so happy down here in Florida growing gardens and the weather. I am up the road a bit in North Florida but would love to visit you guys. I learn a lot from you.
Will you have to put a fence around your garden to keep deer and other animals out? I enjoy watching your videos. I was raised on a farm in Northern Indiana, now I live in an apartment in Southern Indiana. I do not have much room but I did grow some basil and some flowers. Thank you for your videos. May God bless you and your garden.
Thank you for sharing all you do. I enjoy spending this little bit of time with you in each new video. Nancy, I got tickled seeing how that two wheel dolly was bigger than you are. ❤️
You the man Hollis 😊 People could learn a thing or two from u and your wonderful wife. Y'all share your passion/ love with everyone. Really inspiring to watch. Thank you 😊

Hello Hollis and Nancy from Ohio! I’m loving your videos and learning so much! Thank you for very informative details and your explanations of how to do it!
Thanks for watching! Each week will bring the homestead to life very fast now. 👍. Two videos each week for the remainder of this year. Thursdays at 6:00pm and Sundays at 4:00pm
Please write a book and include all your drawings and building instructions and Nancy could write some recipes and tell some of her stories! I will be the first to buy some of them!!!
On a rainy day watching you guys, I really enjoyed this. Was planning on building some container tables but was unsure about the top. The 2X2's with spaces in between is a great idea. Due to my lower back I'm going to plant more off the ground in containers to keep me from bending over as much. Always planted in ground & sure container garden is going to cost me more. ??? Keep me in your prayers. Been having a hard time with my body. Blessings.
Prayers going up for your back Ron. I have a lot of back problems too. The grow tables have helped me a lot. I am sure in the days ahead I will rely on container gardening exclusively as I get older. Got to save my strength for Crappie Fishing!
UA-cam recommendations just helped me find your channel. Have watched many of your video's in the last day or so from your urban garden in Virginia. I have just retired and started a mini urban garden. The original homestead was very enjoyable and informative but the joy of watching you grow and follow your dreams in Florida in homestead 2.0 makes me happy beyond words. I wish you much success and look forward to more videos. God Bless!
Have you thought about hurricanes? You may want to strap your tables to rebar driven into the ground. Or are you going to wait until something is coming? Your doing such a wonderful job. I’ve seen some farmers market gardeners place their large containers on black mats.
Thanks for sharing.....been watching for quite a few years. You are both such an inspiration to me...Thanks again and may GOD continue to bless you both.
Great "build" and "set" video...would have enjoyed watching Bing Bing save you from that sneaky deer taking notes on its future "dinner tables" placement. It's easy to watch you all working so hard on the homestead and reminds us all of how much work goes into keeping us fed! Bless you!

Gotta get a hitch and a lawn trailer for the golf cart. Would be so easy to haul bags of fertilizer, dirt, harvest, etc. I got a lawn trailer for my riding mower for $50 on Craigslist. Thank you for your videos. I’ve started my own container garden from your videos alone. Thanks y’all!! God bless!
At one time I had similar grow tables from a green house grower. It was not long before they started to sink in the FL sand. Hydraulic when wet, hydraulic when dry. I placed ft. square ceramic tile under the legs, stopped that sinking feeling .If you want some I hope to visit Ocala (up north) in April. I'm in Madeira beach area.
Hi Hollis and Nancy! Hello from Washington State. I've been watching your videos and am attempting to grow potatoes in 5 gallon buckets. I love your step by step instructions. Stay safe and healthy down there in Florida.
Thank you so much for this video. Not sure if I can start the table project this year, but it's safe bet that I'm planning for next year. Don't have a table saw, so I will have to get Home Depot to cut down the wood as much as possible and bring it home. I will also have to get more clamps. I see that you used about 5 - 6. This year, I planted Yukon Gold potatoes in 20-gallon storage totes based on your videos. Shared half of my seed potatoes with a church member. We can't wait to see what happens. May God continue to bless you!
I just now found you both.10th of March. I must say I only pray to do hat you both do. Im bed ridden on rainy and cold days. I wsnted a garden but I cant walk good. That how I found you. God Bless you both abundantly. I just love you both.
Hollis & Nancy; Very nice grow Tables or Pant prep tables. I see you used Pressure-treated lumber for your build; What was the cost of material? My wife and I grow vegetables also and we also have Beagle "Fannie May" same coloration as your Terrier and she is a hunter...LOL. God bless. Joe &Ruth

So glad you found our channel and like our videos. We hope they will help you with your garden. We love our container garden. It is so much easier than the earth bed. The tables really help. Best of luck to you and your husband with your spring garden this year. Have a peaceful week❤️❤️🐶
We have a mixture of raised beds, containers, and every year start a new straw bale garden against a cattle panel tunnel which is amazing for growing peas, cukes, pole beans etc. Last year I even experimented and did my sweet potatoes in straw bales and had amazing results. But the container tables are brilliant!! Have a blessed day! Love from NC!!!
Hollis those tables are beautiful. How great to have that talent. Nancy’s a lucky lady. I was wondering how you lost all that weight? You look So healthy ! Of course it helps to have a beautiful good cook I’m sure! Lol
I am so excited to see you guys again, I don't know why I hadn't received your updates!! Love watching, listening and learning with you guys!! Thank you!!
I would love to spend a couple of days with you just to learn how to use power tools. You have a life time of great experience. Such good use of your draft man skills :)
Great job. I made some similar by using 4 x 4s from some big pallets I tore down. I noticed you use non pressure treated 2 x 2s. Is this so the bottom of the trays don'''t make direct contact with the PT wood. I guess if any went bad after time they could be replaced easy enough. Thanks again from Michigan
