Get yourself some hard facing wire if youve got a mig welder and a sheet 6mm plate and youl hardly ever have to buy a skid again for your mowers. We hard face and plate our skids and have done that since the mid 90s and I think we have only replaced 6 skids to date. It takes me about a day and a half to do all 3 mowers.

That level on the front mower is for setting your cutting hight. You set you cutting hight once put that piece level. So next time you just have to look if that level is level and you know you are at the right cutting hight
I would say you must harvest a good bit of silage is the attraction of the big M the mowing capacity or does the conditioner side of it assist your silage quality?

No sideshift on the front mower, must've been an add on
