Thank you Dreadzone for so 20 years of fantastic music. Remember Glastonbury 1994 & have been following you ever since. Couldn't wish for a better live band. Life, Love & Unity. Ahoy! x
Great mini documentary. I can't remember how many times I've seen them live but they never fail to deliver the goods. Their positive energy and feel-good vibe never ceases to put a massive smile on my face and get my feet jumping. Can't wait to see them again in March 2014. Long may they reign :o))
1. May 1995, Hyperstate, Oslo. Main attraction for me was really Prodigy, but was a bit bored. I was walking around between the sets, seeing what a DJ acquaintance of me was playing. Jungle wasn’t really the thing for me, so I walked around a bit more. Then I hear something I never heard anything like before. Wow! What is that! So cool! On the stage I remember a cool Afro man with an electric guitar. I really came for Prodigy, but Dread Zone was really the height of the evening. More than 20 years later, I discovered that Chemical Brothers was also playing at that gig. How lame of me, but Dread Zone totally made my night that day.
Some of the greatest music I've ever heard and danced too, and a beautiful band live EVER. I'm a 36 yr old woman who's been gigging to dread ever since I can remember, I danced at the front the whole gig heavily pregnant with both my children and I KNOW I was too fat to have been able to manage that with any other band. Love you guys 🧡🌍🥰🌈
Blessed love. My lords. I learned about the band from kinda following Leo williams and B.A.D. I just got dread times a few weeks ago. Now I'm a committed fan.
All their gigs I've been to have put me in my own dancing bubble, whilst feeling the collective energy, love and closeness of all in the room. Now that's a pretty special thing to be able to do to someone 😊💜👾🌈🌈🧡🌈🌍🌈
At last, I've seen you live (15.4.16) at Herne Bay and you guys are amazing. The amount of times I have danced to you LOUD in my kitchen no doubt annoying the neighbours but just couldn't help myself. Had many late nights partying to Dreadzone. Can't wait for the next gig (Dover). Greg, love hearing those drums and MC Spee, love your cheekiness. Mwaah to you all ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Long may Dreadzone kick BASS!
Thanks to John Peel in 94 I got into this great band, '360 degrees' and 'Second Light' are still my all time fave albums of any band and there's too many great track's to mention over the years. A fantastic live band as well, Long may they continue.
Love it... really does bring it all home and i realise how much DZ have been the soundtrack to so many amazing times in my life so far... bring on the Dread! Love love love x

Spee is like a springer spaniel. Awesome man. Im not really a Dub fan, I like hardcore industrial. But Dreadzone have a place in my heart.

Not good. All I know is that Captain Dread was good. From this video I get a feeling it is gospel rap.
