Looking forward to hear more episodes !
Dr. Paranjpe explains so simplistically and beautifully. नुसते ऐकत रहावे. I think after this brief Series of introduction to Upanishads, BORI should organize a detailed course on 10 Upanishads conducted by none other than Dr. Paranjpe.
Dr Sucheta ji Paranjpe- you're excellent with these disseminations of Global significance for all Sanātanis. You'll be exceptional if you were to #decolonise these disseminations. Dhanyavādaḥ 🕉🇮🇳🇬🇧🙏
Thank you Dr. Paranjpe for clearly explaining one of shortest but most complex of the Upanishads. With out diluting her above interpretation, I would like to add the adhyatmic meaning for our daily practice: when she says certain bad actions will take our souls to sun less dark regions & vise versa. But it should also to be taken as ignorance(darkness/bad gunas or nature) leads us to delusions(failures/troubled life) & knowledge(light, satwick gunas or nature) will lead us to freedom from life's bondage & ultimate moksha, if one leads a duty bound life without any expectations in return while completely surrendering their ego.🙏
A good initiative indeed. Those interested in understanding more about this upanishad and other sanskrit hymns in easier language may attend Swadhyay kendras inspired by Parampujya PANDURANGSHASTRI ATHAVLE called affectionately as Dadaji.
Isha beautifully brings out the essence of Brahman and Prakriti. It proclaims the perils of life lived at body/mind level (Prakriti) and majestically urges humans to the glory of liberation by merging into the Self.
Excellent. Though I don't understand Sanskrit, I have enjoyed this episode. It would be great if some Sanskrit text or important points appear as subtitle or footnote in the video. :)
Brahmanubuti is not attained by learning tons of vedantic texts.....naayamathma pravachanena labyathe.... When becomes restless to unite with the Lord it will take place
Ultimate sandesa or essence of upanishads is that guide us the straight way to achieve brahmanubuti bec without establishing yourself into It there's absolutely no escape for the individual soul. this is what the vajasaneyi samhitopanishad conveys us in a highly practical way.
Excellently and lucidly explained. Thank you. This is a wonderful initiative by Bori. It's made it possible for people like me to at least get a peep into this vast heritage
I have been following this course and watched two previous videos also. It looks Madam is just giving an overview or overall introduction to the Upanishads. I would request if she could also give verse to verse introduction or explanation, however brief it may be. This way we shall not only be introduced to the Upanishads but also be able to taste some of the wisdom in them. Love and Respect for All :)

Each Upanishad has an overarching theme or subject and Esavasya has the theme of The Whole and its Parts.
