What an incredible shame his career turned out to be. He was my favourite defensive player while he played!! This guy was a FREAK athlete!! 1st Ballot Hall of Fame talent. Would have easily finished top 10 in sacks all-time. This guy no longer being in the league still bums me out.
And as of 2021 after a brief stint with the Cowboys, it still does to me! Top 5 greatest outside linebackers of all time potential right here. What a misfortune his destiny turned out to be.
Aldon Smith story is really sad one, and me being a 49er fan, make me more sadder.......he got drafted in the 1rst round, and he outstanding first couple of seasons, and almost broke the sack record for most sacks in a season, he had 5 or 6 sacks against the bears on Monday night, being a great player in the NFL, not a lot of players reach that level and top of that, making millions of dollars and became famous as well.....there are people around the country who love to be in the same positon as he, bt most of the time, they dont make the NFL, they get either cut in the preseaon, or send them to the practice squad, bt there players who dont even make in high school football, let alone the NFL, now I can understand maybe 1 or maybe 2 incidents, your just learning this new life style and your not used to it, so u make mistakes bt u learn from them and not make the same mistake.......he couldve retire in his late 30s and if he saved hi money and invest his money, he couldv'e lived the rest of his life being happy and not worry about money anymore.....and he just throws all that way, by making really awful mistakes,......I hope whatever he is at, he can tell his story and help kids not to get in trouble, and they learn from his mistakes....his story could help a lot of people...
Would’ve been one of the greatest defenders in NFL history had he stayed on the right path. There’s only a handful of defensive players that I’ve seen totally dominate an offense by themselves in the past 10-15 years. Darrelle Revis, JJ Watt, Aaron Donald, and Aldon Smith.
Reginald Johnson damn I’m so excited to see this line. D-Law, Poe, McCoy, Smith. Our LB core is pretty damn solid as well hopefully this helps our young corners and safeties
Reginald Johnson don’t bullshit me here man. You a lakers fan too haha? Exactly or could be like the Tank Johnson. Remember him? I know he’s lost a step or two but even if we get 2/3 of what he was we are in the green.
@@DustyB1776 i didn't know much about Tank in his Bears days...our dline looks great now...im sure we'll get guys in the draft...and undrafted free agents...i cant wait
Reginald Johnson I know I like CJ Henderson or Bryce Hall for the cbs. I honestly don’t think we will go safety as we have Clinton dix and woods back there.

He will with cowboys💪💪💯

this dude has 29 sacks in 26 games and his rookie year he only played the nickle (he played 50% of the defensive plays) BEAST!
Pat Willis, Navorro Bowman, Aldon Smith, Justin Smith, Ray McDonald, Dante Whitner, Carlos Rogers. This Defense was STACKED
You forgot dashon Goldson. That dude literally had the hardest hits! Terell Brown was a solid corner too.
@@bigbzylo5777 yeah he 4got D. Goldson...he will blow you up. Ahmad Brooks and N. Clements was solid too. Scariest defense in the NFL.

Achilles94 Now hes a member of the Dallas Cowboys and 287 lbs of pure muscle..

This dude was a beast. Shame he pissed his career away.
crazy how he didn't start until the 4th game and only played in 50% of the snaps and still almost broke the record. crazy
He just runs to the bench and just chills. I love that
I like how Eli Manning caught whiplash when Smith knocked him on his ass
Nice vid. Thanks for putting this together.
Beast!
Brooks n McDonald were so underrated 💯💪
"All Done" Smith is a MONSTER
The pass rushing demon Aldon Smith!
That was an outright fumbled, the refs f'ed up something terrible. We would have destroyed the Patriots in the Super Bowl
No, the Ahmad Bradshaw call in the NFC title game was a bullcrap call. That was a fumble. So was this.
LOVE IT!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!
So fast so strong. Incredibly gifted on the field. Off the field was a different story. 😟
Aldon smith is a Leg breaker😳
aldon smith was a GREAT PICK for us
They only ever blitz with 4 guys, crazy.
What happened with that girl in Michigan?
wat a beast!!!!!!!!
Someone send this to kinlaw asap... if he would drop weight they have the same build.. I think 🤔
#99 problems and he goes by smith
Im first ☆ fan here...who's 2nd?

@@DustyB1776 yeah ...same here..but reminds me of my Lakers getting Artest. Scary background but can be a great addition.

i think he should play a bit of tight end too
Picture is way too small. Needs to be expanded to the size of the window
A Demarcus ware clone!!!
well i meant play
omg Khalil mack plus aldon smith duo would be better than D-ware and V-miller. Even the Cowboys would have trouble stopping it.
Sorry Saints, but Smith sacks the quarterback for free!
Puh-lease. People will be calling Ware "Aldon Smith wanna be".
what a waste of talent... im glad the 9ers arent giving up on the guy but im starting to question if hes ever gonna learn
Stud
20mil a year! Wasted
