I dig the clipper over comb tenique. I learned it this way as well a long time ago. Much faster then using pesky clippers anyway. And you are in control of your haircut as well using this guideline. Although I hate to see the beard go, this young man knows the craft of barbering.

Ultimately the barber did what the customer asked for. But yes it was a little sad seeing the beard being trimmed all off.
