- The Alesis strike pro drum kit is a very good kit, but has suffered from a variety of problems, including the infamous hi-hat triggering issue and crosstalk problems.
But lo and behold: I have some solutions the remedy those problems and also a few tips for making the kit look great (again).

Alesis did come out with the Strata Prime e-kit that already improved the Strike Pro Se e-kit. Sadly even the Strata Prime e-kit is flawed. Until Alesis comes out with an e-kit that actually works properly I can not recommend the brand. It seems Alesis rushes out an e-kit that fixes most of the problems and issues of the last kit but it seems they do not test it enough before releasing it to the public and giving them to reviewers. If they had tested the Strike Pro Se and fixed all the issues it has, there would be no need for the Strata Prime e-kit. They did fix a lot of the problems and issues with the Strata Prime e-kit, but even that kit has flaws and issues as many reviewers have discovered. I am sure the next kit Alesis comes out with will fix the Strata Prime issues, but will that kit have different problems? For the amount of money Alesis wants for the Strata Prime e-kit or even the Strike Pro Se it should be perfect and if isn't. Other e-drum companies have better functioning e-kits without the issues of Alesis kits for less money. When the Alesis Strike Pro Se came out I concidered buying one but... After many reviews and lots of flaws and problems were discovered I went with a similar priced e-kit from another brand that after watching many reviews and no real issues or flaws were discovered definitely thought the e-kit was much better than the Alesis Strike Pro Se. I had my e-kit now several years, I play it daily and have no issues or problems with the kit and it plays, feels and sounds 99.9% like my accustic kit. When Alesis came out with the Strata Prime e-kit I was hopeful this would be a great kit. I still think my e-kit is still better than anything Alesis has to offer and I payed less than what Alesis wants for the flawed Strata Prime e-kit. I think the Strata Prime module is a game changer but sadly the rest of the kit is not as good as it should be. So all of you interested in Alesis even though most of their e-kits are budget friendly they are not that good and other brands have much better quality functioning e-kits around the same price or that may cost a little more but well worth saving up for. I do think Alesis will have a kit worth considering but for now I do not think they do.
