Danny and the rest of AA have gone through sooooo much as a band and as individuals. And that’s just the stuff we know about. To me I look at each album as what the guys were feeling/going through at the time. Plus not to be funny but when cocaine and whiskey aren’t a part of your daily life, things seem to slow down lol. Can’t be kids forever. I agree though, this song is fucking sick.

So I'm just now learning and getting to hear this amazing band who have been around since 2006 for the first time... I must have been living under a rock or worse but a few days ago in this year of 2021 while scrolling youtube looking for for a particular song by Atreyu I found Asking Alexandria instead and am addicted to them their music seems to just touch the inner part of my soul and I haven't listened to anything else but them I'm so addicted I love this band so much already I wish I could tell them that almost 20 years later their music is so relevant today including their newest album from 2020 I'm glad I finally found this kick ass band , better late then never !!!!!!!!

If they had reversed their transition they would have been fine. Going from hard rock to metalcore would have been fine because that’s basically taking it up a notch but when you start out with banger albums like “stand up and scream” and “reckless and relentless” you can’t downgrade to hard rock bro. This was the greatest era of Asking Alexandria.

Since Reckless & Relentless you can perceive an 80's rock & roll vibe that is not in present in Stand Up and Scream, The Death of Me is even more closer to that sound, and that album is the downfall of the the metalcore sound in the band, and particularly in Danny's voice

I like their newer stuff, and their older stuff more. I'd like this back too, but I also want these guys to write the kind of music they like. I mean BMTH put out Ludens and 2020 is the year of the gutturals for them after putting out AMO so anything is possible

I know that this is kinda hard situation where we (those who love AA because of stand up&scream and reckless&relentless) miss the old AA, and at the same time, like u've said, AA has a right to write music that they like.. it's just me (and maybe lots of people too) that hate it so much when i start to love a band because of that sound of music, and they suddenly TOTALLY change their style... We could enjoy that style from other bands, and hope to enjoy AA with their old style that we already knew and liked, if you know what i mean... Or at least, make it equal... Write their old style music and some of new style music in one album, which we hope still have "AA" sound, not totally change like this.. well again, it's their rights to change, and our rights to decide if we're gonna like it or not..

you'll see them one day. I could've went to see them last year on the outbreak tour but my parents wouldn't let me but they came back in april to play a festival here in town and I got to see them then. it's a much different and better experience seeing them live and in person rather than on the internet. Don't worry you'll get your chance eventually!!!

This is my favorite song, from my favorite album of AA ... so hard to top this. I don't expect them to stick with Reckless and Relentless style forever but I do want them to keep on pushing boundaries with the style they bring to their harder side. Their fast paced syncopation and deep droooms, Danny's vocal range, I can't get enough. They need to do a collaboration with slipknot, mushroomhead or something.

it sucks that time has passed and things have changed, but this is how i will always remember Asking Alexandria and yeah the music has calmed down but its what happens over time. No matter what they will always be Asking Alexandria and the guys we grew with watching them grow and progress not only in music but in theirselves as people and ill always have respect for them for the music they wrote whether it be older or newer, it doesnt mattter cause they are the same people we have known all of these years. i saw them live at white water amphitheater in New Braunfels Tx not too long ago and they sre still the coolest dudes ever and maybe one day ill have the honor of meeting them. i listen to them almost every day and will continue to ....thanks
