I caught a drug charg and did 5 years in prison and it taught me to stay out of trouble and be around good positive people and be thankful for what I got.
I'm not the OP, but there's mandatory minimum sentences for drug possession in the U.S. From 1986 until 2010, five grams of crack (a not-uncommon personal-use amount) would get you a mandatory five-year minimum sentence, whereas 500 grams of powder cocaine was the amount needed for the same minimum five-year sentence. It was called the 100:1 crack vs. powder sentencing disparity, and was highly controversial. The police and judicial system were given not just an incentive (as if they needed any more), but an actual duty to target communities advertised in the media as "ravaged by crack". In 2010 the disparity was lowered to 18:1, with the amount of crack needed for a mandatory minimum sentence raised to an ounce. Joe Biden co-authored the 1986 Anti-Drug Abuse Act, with segregationist Strom Thurmond, which instituted the crack vs. powder sentencing disparity. Biden also wrote the notorious 1994 Crime Bill that made America by far the world leader in incarceration. The police and judicial system make the vast majority of their trvenue from drug prohibition, so nothing will change until drugs are legalized.

An old High School friend is a guard at that prison. Being around the worse humanity has to offer every day for years has an effect on them. They despise the inmates as disgusting trash and even project that onto normal society. He actually told me that he has no faith in humanity, and he was one heck of a good guy back in high school that everyone really liked. I was shocked at how that place had changed him.
He should get another job if it bothered him that much. In 2011 I got paid 121k annually. I left that job in 2013 for a job where I would get paid 86k annually. That's a big pay dip. But the job I was getting paid more. It was very stressful and I worked around 60 hours a week. No matter how hard I worked. The big fellows in the company would make me do more and not once said good job. I was so stressed out. I would come home mad. And it interfered in my family life. My kids wouldn't want to be around me. When I gave my resignation. They tried so hard to keep me. Even offering me 11K more annually. I said no. I told them I hope you don't treat the next person like you did me. Almost a decade later. My house is paid off and I only work 25 hours a week. And my previous job. They had to hire two people to do the job they had me doing. Because it was a two man job. They rather pay one guy 132K. Than to hire two people and pay them 90k each. They got a good two years out of me though.
@@robertbaldwin298 hopefully. That takes a big toll on you mentally and changes who you are as a person if you are not the type of person to handle pressure. Corruption in prisons will never stop. The reason why is because, people see mostly everyone there as the worst people in society. So they don't care or have little sympathy for what goes on behind the walls of the facility. Even if it's wrong or illegal too. The guards and correction officers could be just as bad as the inmates themselves. However, if a proper investigation and or outside authorities aren't placed in secret to keep these institutions safe and honest then it's a lost cause.

The only thing, I couldn't get brung in for Me was My ex gf 😆...EVERYTHING was brung stra8 to Me, from the CO's, ANYTHING I Wanted as long as I had the Delivery Fee...I made the Two CO's so much money, one of them bought a new home in Palo Alto,CA & the other one bought a brand new Mercedes G wagon, & I came home wit way over $80k easy....On My Dead Homies....bt, the Correctional Officers is the main Gang in the Prison system. They just have protection behind the badge. #BigFacts 💯 #NoCap
In your case it sounds like they were good to you. Made your time better because you had phones and everything else.

I did time at Big Sandy, by far the most dangerous yard I've ever walked....
What were the most violent cars there ?
awesome level of detail and research
Bro I love this channel
I'm impressed by the production. You could fool some people by slapping a Nat-Geo logo on it or something
Word? Lemme tap in. Thanks for this comment. And being from DC Im excited to see how these vids get down
These vids are just so good man
Great Channel, and big salut to shout out Blood on the Razor wire!
I know someone , who was in big sandy . No joke . He said it was dangerous!
For sure
Soo a man with 75 months in a cell with someone with 36yrs....
How did they describe Woods themselves as a serial liar but used his testimony to incarcerate a man for the rest of his life. And get more time than the man who confessed to the murder.
Yea
Thats what the feds do! Look at sammy the bull. Perfect example!
Bird man step brother did the same thing, built cases on people while he was in jail, he was wearing a wire!
@@steveaustin6362 i thought he only snitched on dead people?
@@yusufibrahim7916 That's why you aren't paid to think. My nephew was in MDC Brooklyn with him. He was in transit wearing a wire setting people up to get out. And number 2 be serious. Why would the feds release you for telling on someone who is dead. That some bullshit. He just tried to justify his snitching!
These guards should be held responsible for murder charges
Not only the guards but the owners of the privatized institution
Agreed mate but unfortunately it’ll never happen they always win😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
don't go to jail
@@seanberthiaume6909 well obviously 🙄
@@oliverlacey3765 This is a FED prison not a private prison.
"The Audacity to prosecute" 😅 How dare them! Gave the AUDACITY to do their jobs!?😅 I can't!
Love this channel, always in depth and detailed. Just like botrw.
Chad Marks referred me to this channel. Thanks for sharing, your voice is easy to listen to, unlike some others who talk too fast.
You should look into and do a video on the Florida youth offender YO Jitt camps. Wild, wild stuff going on down there. Love your content, this is journalism done very well.
Isn't that the place where the kids go through basic training just like the army? That's a rough place!!!
@@PURDY_POISON yes except plus shanks and locks N socks
Love your channel! Your choice of content is original.
thanks for these posts. Here in Indiana there is a prison called Miami prison P house is so violent inmates walk around in body armor on a daily
The prison provides this or is this improvised?
Appreciate da stories💯💯
I love this channel so much
You should do a video on LA county deputy gangs or CDC guards organizing fights between inmates
Love your videos man. Need more man
It's common sense with what happened to the video... sickening
You can't make this spit up, the U S justice system is a charade.

Proverbs 4:14-22
Do not enter the path of the wicked,
And do not walk in the way of evil. Avoid it, do not travel on it; Turn away from it and pass on. For they do not sleep unless they have done evil; And their sleep is taken away unless they make someone fall. For they eat the bread of wickedness, And drink the wine of violence. But the path of the just is like the shining sun, That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day. The way of the wicked is like darkness; They do not know what makes them stumble. My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh.
Them Federal inmates have nothing to lose country deputies should go pull what they do in county jails on these guys and see how it plays out
For sure
Haha. That's the only response worthy of your comment.
They wouldn't last a DAY if they went behind the walls with their County Jail bullshit.
@@michaelchmiel166 What do you mean
Peterson is a John wick huh? 🤣🤣🤣
Good stuff for shouting out chad. Good dude.
I'm from Nashville, DAMN Paul Woods was a legend to me growing up. Didn't know all this doe. SMH 🤦🏾♂️
I’m actually from Bridgeton nj I found this video randomly. I remember when dude with the uzi was shooting it out with police. I thought he was in a wheelchair for life after cops shot him and stumped him out.
So am I. I remember when it all went down.
I was just in south woods I'm from up north I didn't know Bridgeton was even bad
@@jaredthomas9978 I just left south woods 2019. Lol yeah it’s not too bad but people be getting killed around the way. Just like anywhere else you mind your own and likely won’t be no problem
Awesome channel.
So you’re telling me this Milburn guy gets to come out of prison after everything he’s done?? Smh, somethings not right with that lol
Somethings not right all the way around in the system!
When you help, the guards and snitch you get time off
Awesome you made this video about big sandy
How is this Melbourne guy getting out in 2025 when he had 17 yrs on top of like 34
Well put together vid man, keep them comin
Did time from 2007 to 2010 at Big Sandy and most definitely was a vicious yard. Believe me these youngsters do not want to end up being sent to a USP, I really hope they change their ways before it’s too late.
Hey good looking out and providing Mr. Chad Marks a well deserved shout out for he has one of the hottest prison channels hands down.
BLOOD ON THE RAZOR WIRE
Go subscribe! You won’t be disappointed guaranteed 💯
W/R Straight from Tijuana 🇲🇽
That's the (UA-cam) HomeBoy 🤣
#BOTRW is doing big things. Chad has free'd many men. He also reduced & reversed harsh & unfair scentences in the fed system. He has publicly expressed that he was Paid and Paid Well to prepare most of these appeals and compassionate release forms. But I still dont see any other channels that can make that claim. Gotta dig it. W/R
@Abdulaziz Mohammed still alive though barely
@Zika Latinos and Mexican
One Thing I Like About This Channel He Show All The Facts 💯
Was you there? Was here there? So htf you know it's facts? This UA-cam bro, everything is fake
@@Nicksryup actually duce was at usp Atlanta when I there 2010 touch your noise every video on here is stating facts
Awesome channel ! You got a new fan 🤘🏾
This show is tv worthy
I know my comment doesn't matter, but I just subscribe due to this video. I seen it when I was searching the random 📽️ reels on UA-cam and came across this.. w
Well done job with this one.

I remember Woods, kept my friend pockets fast in Texas, lawd those days were hot 🔥 🥵
Great channel 💯🍿
How the f*** is this dude even being released after what he admitted to doing?
Damn
Plea agreement. Ironically if he didn’t admit to it and went to trial he probably would have never seen the light of day
