That is awesome to hear! It is an amazing game. I have played many different card games over the past fifteen years, and I can honestly say that this game is one of the best.
24:02 The most sus Force Choke ever. Perfect cardsharking by Andrew to deny his opponent the ability to read the "draw a card" text. (Maybe an honest mistake. I guess. )
I believe Blake remembered to do the damage to his base as well with the Sabine action ability that deals 1 damage to each base. However, when Sabine is deployed and attacks, she only deals damage to the opponent's base.
This constant shuffling is so annoying. The moderator is doing so a good job, helped me to not quit the vid because of this shuffling. It is really distracting:D
@6:26 I think it was a mistake to trade the snow trooper for the steadfast batallion. He could've done that later and instead killed the A-wing. letting the A-wing live meant taking 3 damage that could've been avoided had the sequencing been different. @15:34 this is another mistake I think, Andrew should've attacked Sabine with his probe droid instead of K2SO. He would've taken an attack for 4 either way, but his Bombing Run would've then killed both Sabine and K2, conserving resources and avoiding the Steadfast batallion being able to hit for 7.
Agree with you, Probe droid against Sabine then bombing run and claim initiative after Blake plays Steadfast Battalion; defeating it immediately next turn and keep damage on 18 (not 25) with a good opportunity to win in 2 games. On game 3 another miss play not claiming initiative immediately after Blake played Fighters for Freedom and defeat it with Force Choke on turn 3 allowing 4 damage after Blake taking initiative. This could help Andrew to reduce base damage not allowing fighters for freedom attack and removing green squadron and x-wing with Bombing run on turn 4 ,receiving less damage with Sabine and taking care of her with Stormtrooper and probe droid.
These are excellent points. Edit: It appears Andrew did have a Ruthless Raider in hand along with the second copy of Bombing Run. So had he made the play in game two that you guys are referring to, he likely would have only taken five damage if he doesn't draw the immediate response to Steadfast.
even worse he could of used vader's ping ability to finish off the batallion later and kept his unit alive and open fired first on the a - wing. was for sure a case of just playing too fast without thinking through your plays. Maybe he spent less time fidgetting with his cards soo much and more time thinking he could of played a little better. I mean i understand most tcg players shuffle their hand but his is on a whole nother level.
Andrew here. Yeah, after re-watching the game, taking out the A-wing was the correct sequence. For the K-2 attack, I was more trying to clear the body from my board and play around Rebel Assault because allowing two attacks to go through for one action puts more pressure on my base before the Bombing Run. Either way, I drew pretty bad that game and ended up getting clogged by a bunch of midrange cards. It happens, though.
You're gonna have to get used to it, man. It'll be a feature of all competitive level events for the duration of this game's lifespan. Just a habit card players pick up.
Happens in every TCG at in competitive events. It’s annoying and makes it impossible to know if he’s holding onto a card for any period of time. Last week at my weekly play my opponent was able to correctly deduce that I’d been holding onto a U-wing reinforcement to respond for when he superlaser blasts. All because I’d had the card in my hand for most of the game and didn’t shuffle my cards around.
I enjoy the caster like commentary, much more interesting than monotone play by play
Glad to hear that you are enjoying it!
Well the commentary makes it so good to watch these matches. Sounds like an exciting sports match. Keep up the good work. 👍

Definitely need more of these brother
I am glad you are enjoying them!
Are you a professional sports broadcaster? This is too good for card gaming haha
I am not, but that is actually my goal! I have a real passion for broadcasting, and my plan is to try and make a career out of it moving forward.
All I see is, shuffle shuffle shuffle shuffle shuffle shuffle shuffle shuffle shuffle
Lots of shuffling no doubt!

Would love to know the brand of those white sleeves. They really pop!
They were Dragon Shield Matte White!
Am I crazy, or did Blake fail to ping his own base for 1 damage on a couple of his Sabine attacks?
I believe Blake remembered to do the damage to his base as well with the Sabine action ability that deals 1 damage to each base. However, when Sabine is deployed and attacks, she only deals damage to the opponent's base.
what a surprise :D
Sabine doing her thing!
Why does Andrew not use Vaders ability on turn 1 of games 1/3?
He was wanting to hold the initiative to try and deal with the A-Wing right away.
Hello there, I have a question. Anyone had the instagram or any social media
Hi there. I do not fully understand your question. What are you looking for on Instagram or different social media?

The shuffling can be a bit distracting sometimes for sure, but I am glad you enjoyed the commentary!

@@AkuTehSage Hi Andrew, thanks for stopping by and sharing your thought process!
I almost turned this off lol. Your commentary is impeccable but andrew needs to stop thinking out loud omg. He needs to shut up
Thank you for the compliment!
Dude I almost quit watching the vid because of how annoying this constant cards shuffling if Andrew is 😵
You're gonna have to get used to it, man. It'll be a feature of all competitive level events for the duration of this game's lifespan. Just a habit card players pick up.
Andre is absolutely right. It is a habit that a lot of players pick up, and you will likely see it very often in tournament gameplay videos.

@@brandonjohnson9876 That is very interesting. I am curious in your case if maybe it would have been better to do a light shuffle at some point?
Dude is just trying to increase his APM.
For real though I do it as a fidget and it’ll help calm my nerves.
Sabine is so lame
It can definitely feel pretty repetitive at times.
