Vacuum is done after the part replacement correct? I can replace thep art, ensure i do not turn on the vehicles' AC, and then have a shop vacuum it/svc refigererent?
Thank you for the video! I just replaced the AC Condenser but when I recharged the AC system, the front ac does not get cold but the back does get cold. Any ideas?
I thought the AC compressor was the entry point for oil in the AC system? You can svc thru the condesor as well? What if i replace the compressor and the condensor at the same time, do i need to ensure both components are oil'd or just the compressor?
I just hit an animal on the hwy last night, & the ac now doesn't blow cold. I checked underneath & i see the animal did damage to the plastic protecting the condenser, but nothing to the condenser. So why would the AC be affected?
@@RBTheMechanic Yea, I'm guessing it has to be some how. Also when I start the van in the morning, it blows cold for about 5mins then it doesn't. I'm trying to search for a new one to replace it now 😕.
Hello from Brazil. Thanks for the vídeo. My mechanic changed the AC Condenser because of an oil leak. But afterwards the driver side of de dual zone AC isn't working anymore. The passenger side works fine. Any idea of what could have gone wrong?
I accidently unscrewed the two lines that go into the condenser (I thought it was the radiator) (please don't laugh or scold me) All the freon sprayed out. I was able to screw both lines back in but now it leaks out of the bottoms line where it connects. Is there some kind of seal that I broke or O ring? It only leaks from the bottom line not the top one. Please any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you
Hey bro is there any way to recover freon if I don't have that machine available? I have seen people loosen the bolt on the compressor but that's dangerous because if it lands on your skin ,it can do some damage. And that's not the right thing to do.
My van is stalling while I'm driving. Randomly, I accelerate and it struggles and then gets going again. I took it to a mechanic and was told it was a leaking condenser. How does the condenser correlate with the stalling when accelerating?
Thanks for the video. What is the canister called you used to add the oil and leak detector?
Oil injection it comes with ac machine u can prolly buy it on eBay they also sell uv dye kit ur home syringe I got video commin in 2 days on it

U can add it front the valve when u service the systm but when u buy the parts u can check with part store most of the time oil has already been added

Ac condenser most likely is damaged and Freon has leaked out

It dose have a seal u have to suck out all the refrigeration and then remove the line to check
