Wow. Wish I could like this more than one time. Those have been the issues have been dealing with as a home baker and didn’t know how to fix which was embarrassing for me. 🎉🎉❤
i only occasional bake a cake, but now I am getting very excited. your teachings are so good and clear. I have been glued to the screen for a few hours. thank you so much.
Thank you ma'am 🥰 for the tips.. For tip number 2, what do you do if you don't have a microwave to heat the butter cream and also if you don't have a refrigerator to set the cake before decorating
Gosh, you have to make all those cakes and watch them melt or topple over? You say, I need to do this the wrong way so that the cake will collapse into itself. And then wait for it to happen. And get angry if it stays up anyway. The behind-the-scene preparation for this one must have been completely bizarre. The takeaway lesson is even a completely botched job still tastes good. Thanks, I can see this was one of the most demanding shoots. I always enjoy your videos.
Hi thank you for the tips , I am baking Black Forest ice cream cake for my kid birthday next week , can you please give some tips how to serve , should I keep the cake out for some time before serving (how much early is safe to keep it out?)
Hi! If the bulge is at the very top of the sides of the cake, it can be caused by two things. The first is as you push sideways with a spatula or cake comb, to level the top edge of the frosting, you're also pushing down and causing that bulge. The second possibility is that you're adding decorations on top of the cake before chilling the cake so the weight of the decorations (piping, cake toppers etc) is causing the bulge
I teach all about that in any of my online courses on my cake school on www.britishgirlbakes.com and I have a tutorial with tips coming up on my channel next month 😊

Hi! Ice cream cake will melt quickly in the heat so I would take it out of the freezer as close as possible to the serving time
I also put spring form pan rings around the cake then put in fridge for a few hours then i do final coat and decorating
Can we put all type pf cake in freezer before frosting.....,?

Thank you for the tips! Never thought about the last one. Slap in the forehead. Makes so much sense.

why you always use buttercream instead of simple whipping cream? is it better to use buttercream instead of whipping cream?
You can use whichever you prefer!
How do u know that your butter cream is at the right consistency

Now I want cake
What part of England are you from? I can’t figure out your accent
Originally from Kent but lived in Singapore, Canada, Costa Rica and now the US so it's a jumble!
I wish I were your neighbor. Mmm all that cake you ruined on purpose would not go to waste 😋
Is there any way I can take my cake 6-7 hours away?
Yeah
Just phenomenal 😎👌🫶 1000 thanks for the great work and effort ❣️
