I wrote this back in 2020. It makes me feel content so many of us feel the same. “i look up at the moon and often think that even after a hundred years or a thousand, it will always be up there and choose to light up the darkness. it has always been there uplifting her flaws and boldly existing. that one day when none of us remains here, it will still hold pieces of our kindest stories and pass it down to another person, who will also stand under this same sky and flawlessly fall in love with their flawed existence.”
This song reminds me of two things It’s either loving a group of people who mean so much to you that you don’t have enough words to describe them even if you lost everything you know you still have them.Cause they’re all you have and all you need. Around them you know that you can be “you” they’re on your side at all times. Or Thinking someone’s yours but to them you mean nothing even though you feel so much for this person they’ve disregarded you as a person in their life. You’re a nobody, but they mean so much to you you’re basically losing all sorts of self respect to gain validation from them. People pleasing to extreme limits doing anything for them. But they wouldn’t even lift a finger for you.
i think it's a mixture of both. you love and care for someone so much, but you don't know how to tell them, so they don't know and don't think much of it. but this was a beautiful way to describe it :)
