Good to see your Mom is up and out and about....the dangerous time after major surgery is the first week....you have to get up right away and start walking so you dont get clots anywhere. If she is having less pain, and is more mobile...then it was worth it. Many get a MRSA infection after surgery...but they have robotic machines now that help with that problem and your Mom would know by now if she had infection. Looks like things went very well..and look forward to future travelin tales.
She’s still having some difficulty doing things, but she’s improving each day. She starts outpatient physical therapy tomorrow, so we will see how that goes. She says that she is determined to walk faster than I do once again, so she’s on her way.
