One of the rare Moroccan I’ve seen in UA-cam doing Moroccan cousin in English witch people need to know more about this great cuisine,
Makes me very happy as a Moroccan working in hopso last 11 years in the finest restaurant in Sydney ,
Keep going and be pride for what are doing .
Just good job bro
Thank you brother ! We have an amazing cuisine and I’m happy to share it 😊. Thanks again !!!
Just made this meal this evening, absolutely blew our minds. Great videos, great recipes, I'm hooked. Going to do the baguettes next. Don't stop these videos, I've been looking for authentic recipes like this for ages!
Thank you for watching and I’m glad you tried the fish with chermoula. I grew up eating it and it’s just a wonderful way to cook fish. Good luck with the baguettes. Baking is a big more complicated than cooking but I believe in you 😄. Let me know if you need anything 👍🏼
I've made Chermoula before but today I've decided to try substituting Limes for Lemons. My Chermoula never has tomato. Seabream is usually fish of choice now that I know Red Snapper is higher in Mercury.
There are so many countries that make chermoula so I’m not surprised you have a different version. Love seabream and dorade ❤️😊
Hi!
Made this yesterday evening, family was delighted. Thanks for the recipe.
Awesome ! Glad that the family liked it 😊. Besseha o raha !!!
Liked before watching, sorry not sorry. Watched. My like is justified
Very justified 😊
I am making it that today I had a fish like a month I was gonna throw it out 😅but thank you gotta go shopping for the recipe Shokran
Enjoy ! Let me know how you like it 😊 Besseha !
holy crap that looks good dude. all I ate today was turkey jerky, deep fried peanuts and beer. This was a great episode. I had no idea how to cook a fish. That looks so good. I always think the potatoes take longer to cook than the onions so I would be put the potatoes first just if I did it without thinking of this... but either way... wow that looks awesome with the lemons on top. Like art. Oh I am dying looking at this... this looks amazing. Stop it. No more. Cue the Vince McMahon orgasm meme when you pour on the olive oil...
Thanks Chris 😄 I think you need to cook more !!! Doesn’t sound like a healthy diet. Depending on your oven, the bottom of the pan my burn so it’s good to put something expandable at the bottom. Some people use celery sticks or parsley stems !!! Give it a try ! It won’t take long. It could be an afternoon project !
Looks like a terrific recipe. The only thing I would change is using red bell peppers instead of the green.
What should the weight of the fish?
Thank you 😊. I had this conversation before where someone suggests that red peppers are better than green. I don’t know. For me green are always tastier but maybe I’m used to the Moroccan green pepper variety. I just find it interesting that the same conversation comes up with different people. Do you prefer red peppers ?
@@KuzinaWithSimo yes, because the green ones have a bitterness. I’ve made it with both and I like the sweetness of the red ones. I’m Jewish Moroccan and every Friday night it is customary to have fish this way. Perhaps a mixture of the two is also good. I do a matbucha with both and it’s delicious
@@EynOdMilevado the red ones are definitely sweeter. I think in Morocco is also mostly about availability and freshness. My grandma goes to the market and buys whatever is fresher. I’m happy that we have a shared food heritage that bonds us ❤️😊. Also for some rghayef, you mix the two 😊
I suppose that I can use frozen fish like dory or halibut as substitutes and, right? Is it okay to just marinate the fish instead of stuffing 'em?
Yes and yes, you can just defrost and marinate the fish. It will taste just as good 😊
in our region in Morocco we never put the onions in “lata dyal l7out” that looks nice though. Thanks ❤
For sure there are regional differences. Lata dyal l7out men chamal ?
@@KuzinaWithSimo yes, brother Simo 🙌😊
@@edutbt9733 you have some epic fish dishes brother !!! Absolutely fantastic latas dial l7out 😄
Good looking dish and good looking man !
Thank you 😄
@@KuzinaWithSimo You’re welcome

Shokrane 😊
Hi Simo, what’s the name of the fish in English and Moroccan too?
It’s sea bream in English and in Moroccan we call it cherghou in Salé Rabat region !
Does it has lot of bones?
Thank you for the quick reply
@@malakmuhammedzaid4914 No, just the middle skeletons and very small ones on the side. It has a good amount of fillet.
@@KuzinaWithSimo awesome. I’m about to order some fish for tajin but I don’t know the names in English 😅 I appreciate your help!
BON COURAGE
Merci 😊
Whales 🐳 lol 😂 omg funny 😄
Don't kill whales loool, Nice recipe
Thanks ! I felt that’s something I needed to say ! 😁
Can I use any kind of fish minus the whale? Lol
Yes, you can use other types of fish. Or even just fish fillet. They all taste good with chermoula 😄. Just no whale 😂
@@KuzinaWithSimo Good idea lol 😆
