- After failing to automatically qualify on Day 1 of the World Relays, Jamaica's 4x100m Women regrouped and came back on Day 2 to secure their spot at the Paris Olympics.
Alana Reid, Jodean Williams, Remona Burchell & Tia Clayton gave us a gentle reminder as to why Jamaica should never be counted out when it comes to sprinting!!

The Jamaican women have always been competitive, productive and successful year over year going back decades. The men, however, have produced winners in certain eras and have not been as great with succession planning as the women have. Not a knock on the men's program. From Wint to Quarrie to Powell to Bolt, Jamaican dominance in sprinting has been profound and special but more emphasis is needed in preparing and developing the younger sprinters.
We have train our young runner to take over the big runner soon stop they are tired u people only want entertainment not thinking about the well been of the big ones stop disrespect the young runner they did their best thank u young runner keep on running dont make these bad mouth people stop u let them go and run
