    since we never saw anyone actually talk, the voice over could have been recorded separately in a quiet room with a proper mic, resulting in a much better video, but great review either way, these bikes are looking great

    Nice vid as usual. Look forward to the Eldorado video, that thing is a beaut. Possibly the only bike which could get my dad back into biking after a long hiatus.

      Robert Kwolek I saw the Audace, Eldorado and the MGX21 at the debut U.S. showing in Brooklyn NY. The Guzzi reps said the MGX will probably be for sale next year and after that they want to bring back the Ambassador line. But yeah, that Eldorado is a thing of beauty.

      Robert Kwolek I bought a black Eldorado. I love it. I had previously test ridden the HD. FTboy, Indian Chieftain and a Triumph Commander. They didn't come close. Engine character, handling breaking etc in a different league. It's a little bit of a crowd pleaser too. Me....vain? Haha, you bet!

    loud music doesn't compensate for terrible audio, but apart from that great review, good use of camera angles

    Good review, but why music over your speech when it's not needed? All it did was make it more difficult to hear you properly.

    how much heat is coming off the engine and onto your knees with this bike? This is the first time ive seen a twin configured with the cylinder's sticking out the sides

    • @cheski8468
      @cheski8468 9 років тому

      romero1337 I ride my V7 through NYC all day, it's only a 750cc, but the heads don't get really hot because they're sticking out, the wind helps them run a lot cooler. What little heat there is, sitting at red lights, dissipates away from your body instead of between your legs and under your ass. Now my chrome gas tank, on hot sunny days, is another story altogether.

    • @romero1337
      @romero1337 9 років тому

      Thanks for letting me know! I figured the heads will get a bit cooler with the wind but didnt really know how much. Thanks!

    t's funny how everyone complains about how the V-twin on a Harley shakes your fillings out and but on a bike like this they consider it to be a "great V-twin shake".

    If I watched the video blindfolded I would hsve thought Evans was reviewing a rolling computer.
    I don't really care about the minutea of the various ride modes! What's the darn bike like?

    But 660 lbs.? On a city bike?? Piaggio makes great scooters and small motorcycles (the V7). Who would want to yank this battleship out of their garage just to go for a spin?
    Oh wait, the Harley crowd does this every day (or at least once a month on a sunny, 78 degree day).

    Hard to listen to and watching you ride the front brake lever made me nervous!

    • @redsolocup7854
      @redsolocup7854 4 роки тому +1

      Shane Ephlin You mean “cover” the front brake lever with two fingers. This is a good practice especially in urban areas that you may have to emergency brake quickly. This cuts your reaction to braking time down a lot. Give it a thought.

      here the
      Information.about the app .
      The smartphone touch screen panel allows you to choose five parameters among a big number. Speedometer, rpm indicator, engine power and torque, instant and average fuel consumption, average speed, battery voltage, longitudinal acceleration and extended trip computer: these are but a few of the functions available.
      The “ECO RIDE” function, guides you in order to achieve optimal fuel consumption with an eco-compatibile riding behaviour. An evaluation of your results is diplayed during the trip.
      With GMP you can store all the journey data and review them later, on your computer. In the easiest way, your will be able to analyse your trip and riding style thanks to a host of parameters acquired by the app in real time.
      Easy journey
      GMP boasts a series of contents that are meant to enhance the riding safety.
      If fuel is low, the system automatically tells you which petrol stations are closest and guides you to the one you chose on the map*.
      GMP automatically stores the last position of the vehicle before the engine is switched off, and gives indications if you forget where you parked it.*
      All the information about the Traction Control system activation are replicated on the virtual dashboard for maximum visibility and, while accelerating, the “Grip Warning” function gives you real time information about your driving behavior respect to the road adherence. A dedicated warning icon appears gradually in case of limit conditions.
      You can set specific thresholsd for speed, rpm and roll angle. Dedicated warning lights are activated if the limits are exceeded.
      Exclusive software
      With the synergic use of gyroscopes and vehicle signals, your smartphone becomes an astonishing roll angle estimator in the bends thanks to a proprietary algorithms. (Available only on smartphones with gyro sensors).

    What a horrible "review". Sounds more like an informercial for the brand. It looks great but for actual riding, it's probably the most rider-unfriendly motorcycle on the market.
