Great Video buddy... Yeah it's a shame of the price... and it's not really a stick anymore ... If you need a extent cable 🙄 Agreed just grab a normal tiny box you show in the end 😎
I bought my first PC stick back in...2012 or 2013 I think. They always had two issues. Funnily enough none of them was ever the CPU/iGPU performance. It's always the lack of RAM and the temperatures. The eMMC "ssd" is bad, but it never is the real problem either. Shame as one of these with more RAM, say 16GB, and good enough cooling, would make a fantastic tiny PC for those who want it. BUT NOOOO, let's just release them gimped. I am 100% certain it's all Intel's idea. Yes I realize this is an old video.
@@TrusteftTech wahey! Thanks for checking it out 😂 It's pretty crazy to think that this fairly negative review of a computer (randomly bought on AliExpress) would lead in Mele sending us a few more to review and check out 😸. Shows that they don't mind it non-sugar coated.
@@TeamPandory i asked them and they said its due to the size of the stick whatsoever but they take it as a serious feedback, its still performs and its specs better than some of other similar size and specs models, have u seen the mele quieter2q ? its a bit better than the stick pc, its the size of external 2.5 inch storage, has a m.2 slot for extra storage and usb c power port..
@@drifter4training Yeah, that's probably a better purchase tbh. Knowing the pros and cons of this chip, I'm wanting to explore other CPU combinations ;>
It was released as both 2097 and XL. I think the US had XL, which was pretty much 2097 with none of the cool tracks from Chemical Brothers and Prodigy. .... Don't quote me on that. 😂
Should work fine. Logitech wheels are quite compatible with Windows systems. My Logitech GT wheel works for me, albeit without the force feedback. Only thing I'd be wary about is there are only two usb ports on this little stick.
@@TeamPandory I see the device but it does not work. That's incredibly frustrating. I have not had an issue with a sound card since the 90's. I cannot get any help from mele. Very disappointed
@@TeamPandory I have it connected to a screen with speakers, so it should be through HDMI. I am running Ubuntu Budgie and I use this screen for other Linux distros with lattepanda, udoo, pi. This is the first device I have had an issue with and it's crazy to me as a 20 year tech vet that a company is pushing out devices with bad sound cards. All I see is the lspci - snd_hda_intel, aplay - card 0: sofhdadsp [sof-hda-dsp], device 1: HDMI1 (*) []. I have done the whole uninstall reinstall pulse, alsa and no change. I think this device might run a funky chinese chip that does not accept the drivers. It is a shame cuz this would be a great device but I will prolly have to ship it back
@@kcf6969 I think it's more a case of having unsupported drivers for the chipset. Many of these j4125 chips have had slight issues when it comes with choosing the sound driver in Linux / batocera. Can you load up Kodi and see if you can select the sound option there ?

Exactly. I'm a bit tired at looking at this Male Stick. 😁
Loving the size comparison, definitely seems to be underpowered for the higher systems
It may how their "Patented Fanless Technology" works... Who knows?

@@TeamPandory I guess P.T. Barnum and Oscar Wilde were right about publicity, even though they didn't have mini PCs in mind. 😀
the only issue with this pc stick is the charger that comes with the set only uses micro usb instead of usb c ..
Yeah. Pretty much. That limits the power somewhat... And the heat...

Another package from China
FIRST thing I thought when I saw the notification was 'Male stick'.. and I was like.. what??
Omg. Total missed opportunity ;)
@@TeamPandory haha
I bet channels for those types of sticks exist!
Cool
Nice try, but no cigar, Mele Stick PC.
FYI, it's Wipeout 2097, not XL, EmuChicken ;-)

@@TeamPandory it was a joke Emu. 2097 for Europe, XL for North America. You have to admit that Wipeout 2097💥 sounds more groovy than XL 😒

can it play Call of Duty UO?
I respect your honesty regarding "should you get one..." You make great useful content. Please keep the videos coming! Peace!
I'm glad you noticed. Integrity can be pretty difficult to find on these UA-cams
@@TeamPandory So very true! I have indeed noticed the lack of Integrity years ago, with many other channels.
Would a Logitech steering wheel work on this?

Can I play roblox on that
Not a clue. I'm going to guess... With a "barely". You'll be sitting at the bottom of the minimal specs with this regarding the gpu
Does it have the dual channels memory?
how do i find your discord channel?

did it have sound?
Yep.
