3:33 That tackle by Dupont defied the laws of gravity 👏
That’s gonna be the best moment of 2023 surely
I have been watching rugby for nearly 40 years and he is absolutely one of the best players to ever grace the game along with legends like Joost van der Westhuizen, Richie McCaw, John Eales, Johnny Wilkinson and others. He is immense.

It really is silly how good Dupont is. Even when the lads around him aren't about that life he stands up.
He's to me, undoubtedly the best player in the world and possibly the best player we've seen in a generation. He just has it all
Ringrose is good too

If France are missing Dupont during the world cup, theyll struggle. He's that good!
Feel bad for him, aside from some Penaud magic, DuPont carried France massively in this game
That dummy pass from the prop to Keenan was a thing of absolute beauty. Even as an England fan, knowing our team is only just starting to rebuild again, it's a pleasure to watch this Irish side in full working order.
Thats the 4th time they have run that play but normally it is played from a lineout or scrum. they used it against England for a try a few years ago. first time it was used in open play so more impressive that the players identified it and executed it like that.
Fair play Joe guarantee English will be at the buisness end of the world cup... Ireland always do brilliant in the 6 nation's the year of the world cup and then flop at the world cup I hope it doesn't happen again
As an Englishman I can only stand back and look on in amazement at the Rugby Ireland, France and also Scotland are playing right now.
@@waynemonaghan8587 we didn't do well in the 2019 six nations and that World Cup
yet Wales won the grand slam in 2019 and got to the SEMI-FINALS and lost that by only 3 points to South Africa

Great character from Conor Murray just to play. It wasn't his best game, by his own very high standards, but what a message it sent to his team-mates that he'd stand shoulder-to-shoulder with them, despite his dad in a coma. Well done Conor.
He was brutal ??? Should have said he couldn’t play if he was still shook, which he evidently was, and understandably so.
Best wishes to the Murray family😘

That first half was one of the most incredible end to end games of rugby iv ever seen
Dupont is a once in a generation piece of magic, regardless of the lose, this man is just insane talent in every aspect of the game, Merci France for the best 50 minutes of rugby I have ever seen in Dublin, both teams threw everything at each other and we were treated to insane skill from both teams. Full respect to France
No furlong , JGP , Henshaw , Sheehan from the starting 15 and sexton gone after 50 . Best strength in depth I've ever seen with Ireland

I think if South Africa had have had Handré Pollard playing Ireland would have lost that game. South Africa and Australia games were won by hairs breath even with Sexton, at the Aviva so that slightly concerning. Need a better strategy against those two, but other than that looking good 👍

What an amazing match. If either of these teams turn up like this in the World Cup we will have an epic competition! I'm not Irish or French but believe they are more than capable of being world champions.
Ireland have so much quality. So much continuity and trust has created a team of winners. The massive monkey of underperforming Irish teams at World Cup is the only thing stopping them. Good luck Ireland from an England fan!
Cheers for that, Ireland have unfortunately let themselves down at various W/CS in the past by underperforming, so from irelands perspective it'll be interesting to see can they get that monkey of falling at quarter finals off their back finally. As for England, Ireland always have huge respect for them, and certainly won't be taking anything for granted in any potential grand slam game in the aviva. England shocked Ireland at the aviva in 2019, so nothing can be taken for granted against England, despite their recent problems.
They have removed a lot of monkeys in the last few years, just the biggest one of all left to banish! Good luck to them, they have certainly built a team capable of it!
France at home and also SA/NZ can also easily stop them in the next RWC
Don't forget Ireland have lost 3 of their last 4 games against France

You do not assess the impact of a bad refereeing decision by just reckoning the number of points missed or earned. A try at that moment of the game changes all the physionomy of the match, not to mention all bad decisions against France from Barnes - as we are used to. Great game, l'm sad France lost but wow Ireland was scary and hands down the better team. Some people may have disallowed Lowe's try, his foot brushed the grass but it wouldn't have changed the game's result (the French would have got the defensive bonus though).
No excuses, the Irish team totally deserved the victory.
How can you not love rugby with world class athletes putting on a performance like this. 🍀🇮🇪
Both teams put on a great game love this tournament Irish players put in some performance should be very proud of themselves .
As an Irish supporter I’m super proud of the team for playing above and beyond against arguably the best team in the world. That French pack was considerably heavier than Irelands yet Ireland completely ran them off their feet. Porter was a monster of a man today, as per usual. James Ryan & Tadhg Beirne are simply world class. After Etzebeth, they are both 2nd & 3rd best locks in the world. Doris was unbelievable in the 2nd half. He’s got a really bright future ahead of him. After todays performance he’s definitely better than Alldritt who to be honest looked completely anonymous today. The Irish backline were superb against a very good French back three. Ringrose & Fickou are both incredible players to watch. To think we are missing Sheehan, Furlong, Henshaw, Gibson-Park & Healy shows how strong the Irish strength in depth is now considering rugby is Irelands 4th most popular sport!
And I have to give a special mention to Antoine Dupont. For a man who’s only 5ft 9, 13 stone, he certainly punches well above his weight. The man can literally do it all! He’s such a clever player and he always has so much time on the ball. He sees things around him a split second faster than anyone else. He caused us so many problems today. He’s a complete joy to watch. And the fact that he’s still just. 26, he’s only going to get even better, which is a scary thought 😅
