I have just one question for ALT Balaji and makers of such drama that try very hard all the time to justify illicit relationships and " just friends" and no-strings attached kinda plots based content..under such heavy duty philosophy...I don't want earning husband, or a husband or even marriage or a boyfriend...only a lover ....this that...
Now the question...It's always fine and even normalised in such conservative, paternalist South Asian societies such India Pakistan more so when a male protagonist does this ...who is affluent, at least well off, with a full functional family children and still harbours a love affair with a office partner whose is single ...tries hard to be more sincere with his partner ...but remains just compliant with his family duties ..Society enjoy such kinda stuff...Now in a role reversal if the same drama were to be having a wife ...working successful and a complete family of hers does such a affair with her office male partner who is bachelor longing for her attention...will society accept this

All the characters are playing their part... Writers take inspiration from the world around them and carve out these characters, write a story around them.... There are so many options to choose from and watch... The internet is limitless with content from around the world... What is actually required is discernment... The parents of today have a heavy responsibility to inculcate this.. Discernment to choose wisely, discernment to know that no one actually takes films and series as seriously as people claim... It has become convenient to shift the blame on visual media... When a murderer says they got the idea of destroying evidence from a movie (and yet got caught), what people don't understand is that the murder would have been committed anyway as the reason behind that is motive, upbringing, personality type, etc... everything but movies and series.. But it's convenient to shift the blame.. They are just showing a story.. nothing like glorifying or normalizing...
