多年過去，女成為了身為醫師男的患者。
但這時女已身患絕症，男難過，總在天橋上回憶過去，為女的命不久矣而難受。
此時，女認出了男，但因為自己的病情無法向男表露心意。
男在路邊痛哭，這時出現了一位長的很像女的學生。
想起了學生時的女，想起了當時的愛情 (桃寓意著愛情)，
但最終桃沒有多嘗幾口就放下，在泥土上腐朽變爛，這意味著愛情的完結。
也象徵著女的離世 (桃也有長壽的寓意)。
