The thing about NWH is that it wasnt in so many countries either because of corona or politics. It would have easily surpassed both Infinity War and Endgame if it was released under the same circumstances.
It would’ve surpassed infinity war for sure, but endgame no. Add like 400 or 500 million to amount for China and the pandemic and it would’ve came very close, but it wouldn’t of beaten it. No way home will obviously go down in history as one of the highest grossing films ever, but it would’ve never been the highest grossing film ever.
Even if it surpassed endgame it's will be just because of fan service and nothing else plot wise also not so great

Batman dark knight was good however they paid more money than they received from it
It’s crazy to me that Spider-Man into the spider verse was so low down the chart. It had a interesting story, great characters and amazing animation yet somehow Justice League made more money than it.
Its maybe because the world wasn't ready for its greatness until they actually watched it. It was the first of its kind this is why it didn't earn so much.
Now watch the spiderverse 2 make BANK on the box office because people know what they should expect

Yup. As an objective audience, I think Marvel films have a concept that is too monotonous, so that the story is still far behind The Dark Knight (even though it is bigger at the box office).

X men was the definition of comic superhero for most of our lives to be honest
I'm not surprised that Avengers: End Game made the Most Money. They deserve it cause the movie was an absolute CLASSIC just like the other films on this list. Personally, I feel Avengers: End Game is the Greatest Super Hero/Comic Book Characters film of ALL TIME so far. It's one of the few Marvel flicks that I pick over The Dark Knight or any other DC movie.

Between the oldest movie on this list (Batman 1989) and the newest (Spider-Man : No Way Home 2021) there was a butt ton of superhero movies that did okay numbers, even if the movie was a dud.
I recall Shazam doing well at the box office. I remember the Blade trilogy doing well too. The Suicide Squad, Bloodshot, Shang Chi, and others did okay during COVID.
Shahzam was a great moviem, and Shang-Chi was pretty good bruh no way u calling them duds. Especially Shahzam
That made me realize that they didn’t include every superhero movie from 1978-2022 since they didn’t include the original Superman quadrilogy yet included Superman returns as well as a ton of others

Man Of Steel, Zack Snyder's Justice League, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Shazam, The Suicide Squad (2021) and I'm quite sure that Black Adam, The Flash and Shazam 2 would be good too. Its just that till the time a studio like Universal or Paramount doesn't buy DC from WB, DC would never grow because WB always does those things which the fans oppose. Thats why I wrote its sad and I would like to grow more because DCEU still has a chance to get back up and make a great franchise but WB wouldn't let it happen. So now coming back to your statement about "telling DC to make better movies", well many DC fans are running hashtags and writing Email to WB what more can they do to tell them.
