Pau was very young when she wrote "Black Holes', a song about addiction. To be able to understand such a mature theme at such a young age, speaks volumes about one of the most talented musicians of my 65 years. Pau + piano = 😪
Thanks Jesse...glad you came back for this absolutely stunning song from Paulina...this beautiful young lady just singing her heart out once again for us fans....Love her to death...love all these young ladies for giving me great music back once again. Song is about Addiction and it hits really hard since I lost my Brother to addiction...tears are flowing once again. Cheers brother, great reaction.
I believe the piano is indeed a shell, with a digital keyboard. In fancams i saw the stage crew literally picking up and carrying it off stage. I have a 6 foot grand in my living room, i know how heavy they are. Paulina is a gift that keeps on giving.
Such a wonderful phenomenon- I never expected to be pulled in so deeply- but just incredible so many, many of us feel emotionally bound to Dany, Pau, Ale, the family, the crew. DPA are loved like our own daughters, sisters, nieces- fiercely. I can't think of any band I was ever 'proud' of to this level. We have a nice Sonos system, big Apple Music library, Spotify, TuneIn, SiriusXM all connected. But literally all day, driving, at home, friends over, it's The Warning. We watch their UA-cam clips, watch reactors when we go to bed and are winding-down. Friends even comment they do the same thing. Our three year old granddaughter jumps around to SICK and Disciple lol. She loves shouting 'SICK" and also shouts "OPEN THE PIT" for "Sharks". Unreal. They didn't possess us- they won our hearts. Bel- I'm surprised you didn't lose it on this one btw- I do every time I watch or listen to it. You had some fortitude brother.
She looked so overwhelmed at first that she got emotional. She gathered herself and sang through it and at the end nearly came apart again. Its emotional and intimate. At the beginning she reaches to her back to do something with her monitors/mix. Im pretty sure is an electronic piano by the footpedal and if you watch the first of Enter Sandman, 2 men pick it up and carry it.
It's so cool listening to the crowd at this Pepsi concert singing every lyric of everyone of their songs. It's nice that they have such great hometown support. Also, FtF is a good band. Thanks for the introduction.
@@Rockero_Loco Yes I know. It's still hometown (homecountry) support. Way bigger crowds in Mexico than anywhere else except for music festivals where most people are there for other bands. I'm sure many people of Mexico see them as their band.
Love the strings playing with her on this one. Great performance. 🤘🤘 Yes, literally "More". LOL Dropped 2 days ago. "Error" and "S!ck" are out now too.
The strings really bring this song to life and add more emotion. Also, if they're bringing in a string section to enhance the song, I don't think they would use or have a "rigged" piano... If that makes sense.. ⚡️THE WARNING⚡️
I wonder if the 13 year old girl who wrote this had any idea she would be singing it in front of 8000 people who all know the words!!! Apparently Breathe was her call to make on the night, luckily for us she decided to do it. Saw the Survive video with FTF, really good.
I bet her parents and sisters cried as many tears as she did after/during these two songs. She’s a rare talent. All three are Dany did it to me in a Dany Day midnight show with “ Show me the light “ they feed my escapism.
It was a shell piano with a electronic keyboard but I think it was using a resonator on the piano case part that mimicks the sound of a grand piano. Four people carried the thing out onto the stage and removed it. Usually a real grand is mounted to a frame with casters that allows it to be rolled out onto stage without potentially tweaking the piano plate enough to throw it out of tune. Four people probably couldn't carry a real piano out onto the stage.
Just to help CDMX make sense for you. CD is short for Cuidad (City) in Spanish. And of course MX refers to Mexico, hence CDMX. In Spanish we say Cuidad de México = Mexico City.
Written from the point of view of an addict succumbing to their addiction and warning the people trying to help them to let them go... To not hold on....
I'm pretty sure they can't fully get what's happening. I know that feeling when something you've worked for starts to work... it's a weird feeling. It's an add-on to the imposter syndrome. As a dad I just wanted to give her a big old dad huge after those two songs.
Totally different ambience with the strings than a couple of the performances when Dany and Ale provided some ethereal sounding guitar. The strain is evident in Pau's voice in this with the flu she was suffering from, but goes all in as she always does. Great performance sans Dany and Ale, though their backing vocals are missed a little. Pau makes it work.
Talent on loan from...the mystical universe. What an emotional, expressive and supremely talented human being. A lovely Woman.

Absolutely wonderful live performance!!
Paulina is a treasure for all humanity!
She is a true artist who conveys many emotions!
Viva The Warning!! ⚡⚡⚡
Wow. Her smile lights up the stage…… and the crowd! Nice reaction. 🤟🏼🎸🥁🎸🤟🏼
Pau takes her inears out so she can hear the crowd from time to time. talk about an immersive feeling.
be good to one another and ROCK ON !!
8000+ thousand voices joining her! definitely a wondrous and teary moment... 🧅🥷 🧅🥷 🧅🥷

From XXI century blood, when they were kids. One of many masterpieces on that album.
Pau is a polymath is she not? God knows I love them all as a band, but this woman, what a talent eh?

6ft grand must be beautiful!!! Plus, all the tuning issues they could run in to. Digital in a grand shell would make all the sense
That moment of her just taking in the crowd singing back to her might be my favorite moment in this entire concert. Great reaction!
That, and after Breath, when the crowd chants her name...Paulina! Paulina! Paulina! Gives me chills every time.
@@sb859 Yes I remember, powerful.
Makes me wish I was there. Truly.
Such an outstanding performance. My favorite for this song. So much emotion and the strings were gorgeous. Glad you went back to this.

I agreed with you at least 3 songs I listen to TW for my every day dosis

This is in Mexico City.
They are from Monterrey at least 700-800 km away from Mexico City.

It's Pau singing. 9/10 it's gonna be a tear-jerker. Her voice is so emotive. What a gift.
Love the strings playing with her on this one. Great performance. 🤘🤘

Such a good performance, they are always out doing themselves.
This song, along with Breathe are the ultimate one two punch to the feels! Pau is amazing!
Can you imagine being able to tell your grandchildren: "I played with The Warning at the legendary Pepsi Center concert!"?
The strings really bring this song to life and add more emotion. Also, if they're bringing in a string section to enhance the song, I don't think they would use or have a "rigged" piano... If that makes sense..

I like This song
Just perfect.
It was a shell piano with a electronic keyboard but I think it was using a resonator on the piano case part that mimicks the sound of a grand piano. You can also see her using a digital sustain pedal as well.
I was ther and pretty close, it was a grand piano...
Were you there?

I was there, and it was a grand piano....
Yes, they dropped "More". 😊 (Sorry, I know you know now, but couldn't resist. And that's a lot of "now"s there, isn't it? 🤷🏻♂)

Yea, I was writing songs like Black Holes too when I was 13 years old…NOT!
😂
Written from the point of view of an addict succumbing to their addiction and warning the people trying to help them to let them go... To not hold on....
I know how you feel about the meaning of the song. 25 years sober.
Jesse did you notice the little Pau cough right before she started?
I’ve rewatched this like 30 times and notice it now, not sure if I did the first time though haha
@@Beldvlmnt Kinda hard to hear unless you are looking for it. I didn't notice til someone pointed it out.
Talking about creating an athmosphere for ripping your heart out after with Breathe. Pau is magical.

Next to Escape the Mind, this is such an iconic song by Pau, it's so deep and emotional. 😭
😂
Breathe is the guaranteed tear jerker
The Warning just dropped the entire Pepsi Center Concert ⚠️ ⚡🤘
OH I SAW!!! Gonna plan an event again of course!!
@Beldvlmnt I am planning on it ⚠️ ⚡🤘 with FTF of course
3:14 Yes you are alright! there's another clip where you can see her lips telling "no llores, no llores, no llores" (don't cry x3) and then she smiles
I see Pau by herself at a piano, and I get a fresh box of tissues. And then the crowd sings. And she has a string section. Absolutely unfair.
🤩😍

Beautiful song, my first listening. I have my reasons why I avoided this song, now, I've heard, what a beautiful song.
