My mother use to do something when I was little that I will never forget, she would say these things in order while pointing them out.
“Brush sweeper” (run finger through hair)
Head acher (touch forehead)
Eye peeper (touch right eye)
Eye winker (touch left eye)
Nose smeller (touch nose)
Mouth eater (touch mouth)
Chin chomper ( touch chin)
Then after she would say chin chomper she would tickle under our chin saying “Get ‘em , get ‘em, get ‘em”
She does it to my nephews and they just love it. They find it fun and amusing while also learning where their eyes and such are.

That is so funny! My grandma did almost the same thing except instead of head acher, she said fore bender when touching my forehead. Then it was eye winker and the other eye was tum tinker but the rest was the same. Very similar, I wonder where this originated!

My grandma used to do this when I was a kid.. She would lightly run her fingers on my head and hands and I would sleep in seconds. I used to keep bothering her for more. She passed away this January at 90+. May she be blissful wherever she is.
