They are inspired by the OG western artists like TLC, Michael Jackson, Jay-Z, J-Cole, Beyoncé, Lauryn Hill, etc. In fact, Cocona (the one with the braid) basically grew up listening to TLC and Lauryn Hill since 3rd grade and got interested in her music career because of them! 😂 They even cover some of the classic songs such as TLC No Scrubs and Michael Jackson Rock With You in their XG Vox videos. They have their own rap cyphers to classic songs such as Jay-Z Dirt Off Your Shoulder in their XG Tape videos. Not to mention their own dance choreography videos such as XG Move where they dance to other artists’ songs. Check out these videos to see their homages to the OG! 🔥🔥
@@BnBReactions Recently, they also did a remix of Left Right live during their world tour. Along with a new dance choreography, they also add acoustic and old school R&B vibe to it. Fans did upload videos of their live performance and it is insane. 😂 🔥
Sienna LaLau and The Lab does most of XG's choreography. Sienna can also be seen in XG's New Dance Multiverse music video that they shot last year in LA when XG and Sienna were in LA for HITC and even danced together on stage. Sienna is basically like XG's older sister and she always comes with great choreo that fits the songs while also incorporating so many smooth transitions because all seven girls are amazing dancers
The one in the grey hoodie and orange hat is Jurin. She's the leader, choreographer and dance leader of the group. She's basically hip hop through and through. She's also a pro snowboarder since she was 12, and she loves skateboarding and used to be a model
They actually have a remix of this with Ciara and Jackson Wang which performed it in Coachella in 2023. Just call them a Global Girl Group. They're 7 Japanese ladies that trained and based out of Korea and perform in English.
Hey Guys! Our AC turned on and we didnt notice and thats the static you hear. Good thing is it doesnt last long at all! Stops right before 3mins and maybe 20 or so seconds into the song.
Sienna gives them HELP with choreo, but Jurin does the choreo. You'll see this in all their practices. Everyone gives input, and if they don't agree or they're not feeling it, they'll default to Sienna.
K-Pop adjacent. They consider themselves as something new: Japanese group/Label, promote in S. Korea, songs released in English. They prefer "X-Pop" A truly Global Girl Group.

The one hyping them up in their dance is the girl in the gray hoodie. Her name is Jurin and she’s the leader and main dancer and sometimes does their choreo
They aren't kpop or jpop because the main language of their songs isn't Korean or Japanese, it's all english. They also don't have the same standards as kpop industries, though they do promote like one
Just ignore the kpop thing. They want to promote in Korea they need to embrace being just a unique version of such. Fans are ruining their reputation with the insistence on x pop stuff. And just confusing potential fans. You get to call yourself a new genre when you conquer such, not while ur growing into it. All they’ve done by insisting they aren’t is alienate other Asian fans and keep xg out of organic kpop convos. In my opinion it’s their biggest current mistake right now. I suspect Simon will pivot on this front as they haven’t quite made the impact they want in Asia yet.
Phenomenal R and B song with a little bit of hip hop thrown in there

Thats good to know! You can definitely feel that in the way they perform and approach the vocals. Everything feels authentic

@@VyHuynh202177 love that version. Hope they release it. The choreo is more New Edition than Girl Group. Swaggy with the dance break in it.

It's funny you said Ciera. She did a remix to this song.
