I’m very impressed with it. It brings a great and unique skill set to the property! Those poles just popped out! I was surprised how deep the second one was buried. I appreciate you watching and commenting!
Good morning J Andre, great video. A little nerve-wracking at first, but the Notch tree puller did a great job removing the poles. Handy tool when you are a creative thinker. 👍
@mattcastleberry683 LOL, me neither!!! I'm really happy learning all that this Tree Puller can do. It's easily doubled or tripled my expectations with what it can do on a Tractor..... and on a skid Steer, Wow....I think it would be crazy!!!! Thanks so much for the comment, and for watching!! Best, --J.Andre. / Old Iron Acres
Maneuvering a decent sized tractor in tight spaces can get tricky! I've tapped some things I didn't want to with my New Holland. The big thing I'd worry about with the poles is what they used to treat them and keep them from rotting. I know some utility poles can be treated with some pretty toxic stuff that you don't want to breathe while it's burning.
@redtailwoods - - I think we've all "tapped some things" LOL. I know that railroad ties have that creosote chemical in them. Good point to think about on the telephone/electric pole. That hadn't crossed my mind yet... Thanks for watching and for the comment!! Best, -- J.Andre. / Old Iron Acres
Thanks for watching and for the comment Matt! It sure is. It's a fantastic pick up, for us! I need to pull so much more up!! -- I hope everyone checks out Matt's channel for more great videos! Best, -- J. Andre. / Old Iron Acres
Autozone sells cameras that are made for back up cams. You can mount the camera on your grill and mount the monitor on your dash or hood using the suction cup that comes with them. The monitor is about the size of a deck of cards. I bought mine years ago and I believe it was around 80 bucks.
I’ll have to take a look next time I’m in there. I did look at a couple online. Do you like yours? What do you use yours for? Best, - J. Andre. / Old Iron Acres
@@OldIronAcres I have a motorhome and a trailer I pull behind it for my car. The camera is mounted to a license plate bracket. I place the camera on the license plate of my car and run the wire inside the car and plug it into the cigarette lighter plug. From that point it's wireless, so I plug the monitor into the cigarette lighter inside the motorhome and us the suction cup against the windshield to mount that. I am 64 feet long and I can back up to within a foot of an object.
@@OldIronAcres I am also fabricating a PTO driven stump grinder for my John Deere, and will mount the camera on the rear of the tractor so I don't have to twist my neck around to grind stumps.
@@johnnybegood9285 That sounds sweet! That is a skill I'd like to acquire! I could see how it would be handy to be able to fabricate my own tools! I Hope the Stump grinder works out well, and using the camera sounds like it will make it even easier to use!!
That would be a great tool for that job!! (In hindsight sight) I know I didn’t have the right tool, at least for the whole job, but you are right!!!! An angle grinder would have been great for it! Thanks for the comment, and for watching!! Best, - J. Andre. / Old Iron Acres

I recently bought a Notch tree puller as well. They work amazing. I wish I would have bought it sooner.
@pinesedgefarm1155 -- I completely agree with you!! I wish I had bought it years ago as well! Thanks for the comment and for watching!

Thanks Ben! It sure is!! Hope you're having a great week!
Pulling up a utility pole blew my mind. I had no idea a tractor (even a large one) could do that.

A cheap 18v angle grinder would make short work of those wires.
