Tip: Look into the camera, it becomes more communicative, and you appear shy looking away, nothing to be shy about, good voice for videos. I think people would like to see the settings, what it offers over the cheaper version regarding features? is it a smoother arc?. Thanks for the content man!
Thank you so much for the review and content. Keep doing stuff like this man. I honestly have this setup with a 40oz 100% Argon Gas. Literally! And on a real budget price. I can't wait to start!
Hey Ryan, thanks for the video. What do you think of the ampere display? Does it seem to match with what you actually are getting? I have a deko welder and I need to run it a 170-180 amps to be able to run a 3/32 7018.
@@Dibulok weird I wouldn’t run that no more then 90 amps probably around 85 might be a defective one and I would have them replace it. Mine I would say is within plus or minus 10 amps
@@RyanRosss Ok thanks. I have a migatronic welder as well. On that one I run the 3/32 rods on about 80-90amps and the 1/8 on 120-140. But on the deko i need to max it out to even be able to light up a 1/8@RyanRosss
@@Dibulok yea it’s defective or try switching your leads ands see what happens maybe they flipped them . Most likely a defect tho. Don’t for get to subscribe 🫠
@@RyanRosss I just purchased one, and had it replaced mine is only going to 114 amps max on display. Second unit only goes to 113 max on display. Kind of strange that two units do the exact same thing. Burning a 6011 1/8 inch rod. Both machines struggle to hold ark at what it lets me max 114 amps. May have to return for refund. Thanks for the quick response
I have tried both on 120 and 240. On all the rod settings. 2.5 and 3.2 are the same, along with none allowing me to adust from 20 up to 114 amps. At 120v it wouldn't even create an ark. At 240v I was almost having to push through my puddle to keep an ark on 114 amps. Played with arkforce in all the settings and the other off on setting. I'm kinda thinking the machine is not sensing the 240v. At 120v it's only supposed to do 120 amps. It shows that on the back panel.
@@sceptre2565 hmmm you’ve held down the mma lift Tig bottom until it flashing and then it’s set on lift Tig . The only other thing I could think of is the knob is broken or like you said it’s not sensing the 240 . I would complain and get money back or even a new machine. There pretty good and giving you a new machine if you need so. I’m sorry your going through this that annoying
So this little welder which I just bought has no gas nozzle on it?? How do u set that up then? Does the gas connect straight to the Lift TIG torch my bro? I would really appreciate if u have the time to answer my Q pal.. I'm a complete newb to welding. I bought a stick welder last week but I saw this 160A DEKO inverter welder and got it really cheap. It was 80 Euros but I also got another 22 euros off the price with this special deal they gave me. I was hoping u were going to show us how to set up the LIFT TIG bcos I don't know how to do that. Is there any chance u might maybe make a video about setting up Lift TIG on this machine my bro? That would be awesome to see how u did that set up bcos this welder has no built in Gas nozzle on the machine. I'm stumped as to how to connect the torch to the gas bottle?? Is it connected through the torch and not the welder?? Great video my bro. It's cool to hear u like this welder and the cheaper one is still alive and kicking after 2 yrs.. Keep the great content coming my friend. Salute from Dublin, IRE,.
Yea if your tig welding with it you get a torch with a manual gas valve on it and you hook straight up to your argon regulator and then use your hand to turn on and of the gas with the torch valve you also start your arc but using what called scratch start basically like starting a match
@@RyanRosss Thanks for that advice and information Ryan mate. It's very much appreciated. I know ur probably mad busy so the fact u took the time out to answer my question means a heck of a lot. Thanks for that link as well my bro.. Salute from Dublin, IRELAND!
I will make a video but make sure you have a manual shut off valve torch for Tig is the main thing and of course a arc/stick welder. Make sure your you switch polarity . So your work piece is positive and your torch is negative. Then on your torch you have a direct hose that connects to your 100% argon bottle which has a regulator on it for cfm. Hope that helps but I’ll make a video in a little for you.
I’ve uploaded a short video on how and what you need. Check my channel out and go to my UA-cam shorts. Please Like and subscribe thanks again and hope it helps
@@RyanRosss yup that’s exactly what I was looking for lol, I just got the dekopro so as soon as I heard I could use tig for my small side business I got pretty excited. I’ve used stick for the last 3 years and I’ve used it for everything including HP pipe fittings but can’t tig for crap lol

Will this weld aluminum
How did it do on allium
How do I hook up the foot pedal there’s nowhere to plug it in
What settings would you suggest on 110 stick welding for the Arc Force, VRD (on/off?), MMA Lift Tig (2.0/2.5/3.2/off), thanks!
Well with this machine I only use it as a Tig machine. So mine is set to lift Tig .
Turn the vrd off to
