Yes, they would remove the announcement of the sponsors because Canadian airings would have different sponsors. However, they normally used the regular opening theme. I'm not sure why they used this version of the theme on this episode.
THanks. I'd never heard that version of the theme before. Lots of good stuff here. Great to see more of early Bridget. And all the fun and heartbreak with Felicia/Cass/Wallingford. I loved the tension with Rachel and Alice too. It's a shame they never did more with Alice at this point. Jacquie was terrific.
The Rachel-Alice tension is simmering here! It truly is sad that they couldn't hold on to Jacquie. As someone who remembers her from her original run on the show, I can say her acting was always top-notch, and the actress was intriguing to watch. I honestly don't understand Lemay's beef with her. I think he thought she stood in the way of his plan to make Wyndham his leading lady.
@@LOLOLUTHER Harding Lemay once said in an interview that Jacqueline Courtney and George Reinholt often did not know their lines, which frustrated him. Also, Executive Producer Paul Rauch did not not like Jacqueline, and he said that he would never hire her again to act on "Another World."
@@MrCraigblaze I believe that both Lemay and Rauch did not like Jacqueline Courtney and vowed not to rehire her to portray Alice Frame. Also, they were not very fond of hiring people of colour on "Another World." During their tenure, I only saw Nurse Linda Metcalf (portrayed by Vera Moore) and Quinn Harding (portrayed by Petronia Paley).
Thank you for liking it Rachel hit Carl with the the bottle then Mac hit him too whenever Rachel was mentioning to Carl about his pass deeds she always say to him you try to kill my husband she said you kidnap me but she never say he shot her well some of us fans will forever loved Mac and I will forever loved Carl was bad yes but he had a since of humor he was funny Carl was not the worse villain ever I found Carl to be so funny I know to some ppl it’s not but to me he was just funny I think he was in love with Rachel all along but Mac had her and he went after her in 94 he never gave up on her iris try wicked Amanda wicked Matthew Carl never grow Ryan but he turn to be a good guy didn’t he .
Rachel was my favorite character next to only Ada.
