Absolutely wonderful video! Thank you
Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. Kevy 👍
Loved the video Kevy.
Cheers Steven
I often buy baby products because you know these companies keep chemicals and irritants out because if a baby gets hurt, they get lawsuits, lol. I like pure and simple things. I want to try the Fine Fresh Veviter. I love my Edwin Jagger and Shark blades are great. Thanks for another great video sir!
Thanks! The baby cream I used in that video is really good stuff Thomas.
Great job Kevy. Also I enjoyed watching. That's exactly how I prefer my lather as well. And I always end up making it splatter or as you say, fly everywhere, as well LOL enjoy your work week ahead bro.
Cheers Mark. Mess is best! 😬
I'm never using the captions option ever again. According to this, Kevy 'hopes everyone has a dirty weekend and sells excellent children', hahaha.
Hi Kevy. Thank you for another great video, as always.Chris
Cheers Chris 😀
another splendid video!
Cheers 😃
Very nice videos and I am learning alot... And after seeing the cost of shaving videos I can relate to it.. I used an electric shaver and now I have 6 soaps, 5 after shaves and 5 lotions, preshaves, razors... ETC
Question:: Using after shave balm , after using aftershave lotion, negates the scent of the aftershave used? what do you suggest
Thank you
Ahad. Thanks for the comment. About putting on balm then the after shave. I do it this way and usually the scent of the aftershave will stick around longer than the balm so you can smell it once the balm has dried in. But I also sometimes put the balm on then put on the aftershave. There's no right or wrong way. You could also put on the aftershave, then the balm and then 10 minutes later, put on some more aftershave. Hope, this helps 😀
Nice shave Kevy, I somehow knew you'd get your TOBS sample to lather like something out of the Quatermass Experiment 😌👏
It's not as easy to shave whilst talking is it? I'm often chatting to my little boy whilst I'm shaving, although a respectful hush descends when I get the straight stuff out 😂
What did you think of the Shark? I've never tried one.
Cheers Dave. Need to stop yapping especially when I shave over my Adam's apple area! The Shark blade was ok, sharp enough but not the smoothest I've tried but it done the job. I would give it a 8/10 for sharpness and 7/10 for smoothness 😀
+Kevy Shaves thanks Kevy (from a fellow chatterbox). I imagine a lot of wet shavers will be interested to see the results of your blade tests, as we all have the ones we like, but are always interested to see the opinions of others on how other blades compare 😌👍
Hi Kev, I hope life is treating you well my friend and you are having a great weekend, I was just wondering in your next shave if you could use the fine fresh vetiver cologne again as I have just purchased it and I love it so much! By the way I love your quote sign on the bathroom wall! 👍
Hi Tony. All good here thanks and I hope you're the same. I'll try and remember to use it in a shave soon. It's a great scent. Cheers. Kevy 😀
If you enjoy fine fresh vetiver, have a look at Tom Ford Grey Vetiver which its modeled after.
Thanks Mike. I got some Tom Ford Grey Vetiver after smelling the Fine version. Just need to get some Caties Bubbles soap to match. Un Jour Gris is the matching soap I believe.
Good luck keeping track with all the blades you are going to be using in that "samples month",l.o.l.
I know. I'll show you all the different blades I have in a video soon.
I just realized that I have heard how you mark the blades and the number of uses, but I can't recall you stating how many times you use the blade.
Usually 3-4 uses for a modern blade. Some of the vintage blades seem to hold their edge and sharpness for a lot longer. Kevy 🙂👍
@@kevyshaves4109 The old Marker blades were good for 5-6 shaves (face and head) but I am like you, about 3-4 uses and they are done lol
the only eatin' I do is burgers and fries, thumbs up for that one :)
+Vilmore Thanks!!
I can only imagine the thoughts of a non-English speaking person watching this video at the point baby crying sound effects were done....hehhhehehe
Ha ha 😀
Kevy - Forget the fancy soaps already and just use some Palmolive, Derby, La Toja or Williams Mug Soap. although you do enjoy some lather! I think your first pass is shaving off lather! Spend your time concocting the perfect post shave elixir! It's the aftershaves that get the babes and eventually you'll find one that will enable you to hire this group to introduce you before each video. Just replace the name and imagine the opening as, "Ladies and gentlemen, this is Kevy Shaves!"

When I first read "Shark blade", I thought to myself, "Uh oh. Kevy Shaves better have the Clubman Shave Talc and Mr. Styptic Pencil nearby, and a professional cutman from the local boxing gym on standby. Sharks are not known to be the smoothest blade out there (to say the least) and I wasn't that crazy about it. I'm not surer if you were using the Super Stainless or the Super Chrome. You're one of the first people I've heard call this blade smooth during a shave. You already had 2 cuts on the neck before the end of the first pass. See what happens on the 3rd or 4th use. Read the reviews:
Super Stainless-->www.westcoastshaving.com/store/ProductReviews.aspx?ProductID=559
Super Chrome --->www.westcoastshaving.com/store/ProductReviews.aspx?ProductID=298
Just kidding about the soaps, but I do believe the aftershave/cologne is the best part of the day, especially if it works!
*Have you ever tried the Permasharp Super?*
*That blade seems to be getting quite popular.*
*o______O*
I'll be using them in a shave video before the end of April Dan. 😀
Kevy - how would you describe the "Fresh Vetiver" scent? Also, do you also have the Fine "Clean Vetiver"? If so, how are they different?Chris Ryan
It's funny Chris, but if I were in charge at Fine, I would switch the names! I think the Fresh Vetiver has more of a clean scent to my nose anyway! I also have the Clean Vetiver and I would describe it as having a kind of Fresh scent with a tiny touch of musk at the back end of the scent. Nick Shaves does a god comparison video of both of them. I think Fine are rebranding the Vetiver scents and have just released a new one.
Beautiful razor! I'm not sure to trust the Shark blades though. Thanx Kev!
The Sharks weren't too bad.
Another gr8 video! Use the Shark blades as well and I'm very satisfied! 5 blades for €1,95 ;-) Enjoy the conversation(s) :-))
Thanks 😀
Fries? Fries? I thought you were Scottish?!
Ha ha! Well spotted Andrew? Burger 'n' Chips it is then 👍
Looks like the shark blades don't agree with you.
No, I didn't think they were very good. I'll give them one more chance. Kevy 👍
