Totally dig these episodes! David is a beast! To keep coming back for more!!!! Weapon! And he has a great coach! Can’t wait for my turn to eat peppers with you 🖤
Once again, David taking the hit for those of us who would be in so much pain eating those pods. Way to go. Keep on doing these videos, they are very fun to watch.
Chase The Heat I’d love to eat some of the worlds hottest peppers with you on your show. I’ve eaten Carolina reapers and ghost peppers and I thought they were hot but not extremely hot. So I thought, one day, why not just spray mace in my mouth. It was pretty spicy and didn’t taste like anything, just pain.
@DIV1NITAL my comment wasn't supposed to be mean,it's all words they use their selves, you have to watch the whole series over the week to understand. Sorry my comment triggered you.
Johnny, when you put the peppers up to the camera, if you hold them about 4-6 inches further back, it should focus way faster. There is a minimum distance it needs to focus, and you are coming in just a tad too tight. Keep up the awesome!
Johnny I've watched your videos awhile now, brother watching you are getting me through some hard times mentally and physically, I want to thank you for doing this content, much love brother, keep making this great content 👍
My Tears and Sweat Burned Yesterday After I Ate 4 Habanero Scorpion Crosses! My Bottom Half Is Paying for It Today!! And I Ate Another One This Morning Just For Good Measure LoL! Have a Great Day Gentlemen!!
Hey I'm Andy Bambrick, super spicy lover. I planted 12 dragons breath pepper plants, (my kittens dug them up as sprouts) I managed to save one of the plants (about 3" tall) for it to be uprooted by cats again and swept up in house cleaning. Found it in the (pile of house sweeping stuff) replanted it I've been growing it for 2 yrs now and it finally produced peppers. (I planted this originally in N.C. now I live in M.E. and I have peppers. I heard these plants can produce for around 5 years. I'm on yr 2 and just now got peppers. They ARE hot. I have an attachment to this plant. I guess my question was (I heard when the pepper is producing its pods) if you stress the plant out it can make it increase in capsaicin. I would love to send you pics of these (there small and very compact) smaller then yours but pack a punch for sure. I'd love your feedback not sure how to get your opinion though. I appreciate your work.
You guys are nuts. Got some of your dried Carolina reaper pods and tried one for the first time on saturday night. Couldnt believe the heat, but that endorphin rush was really cool. My ears were burning and my fingers went numb. I've never felt something like that before. Dont know if I'd do it again, but it made me really respect what you guys are doing. Bunch of animals
To each their own but when he's in the hot zone its like an invisible guy is holding his tongue with a pair of pliers. I've been calling him " ole plier tongue " since the start.
I am an ex Olympic weightlifter and coach now. What you are showing is the same exact thing that coaches in any sport go through with young talent. Keep it up David!
For me the reason I can't talk after eating a pod is because, I think contact between the tongue and the rest of the mouth hurts more... so your body is reflexively trying to reduce the pain. Just a theory!
I have five Carolina Reaper plants and some Dragon's Breath seeds for spring time. I've made some incredibly hot, and delicious sauce from the Reapers and have been thoroughly enjoying them. I have around a half pound of the Reapers and have set back some seeds from the best phenotype as well. Seeing as how they are apparently bitter, I am going to cross the two together and possibly back breed the resulting cross again, to try and bring out more of the Reaper's sweetness, while not sacrificing any of the heat. I have grown many different hot peppers in the past and am looking forward to growing/cross pollinating these two plants in the coming months. Thanks for the review. I will let you know the results, once I stabilize the resulting genetics. Cheers from South Georgia, USA! 🌶️
I just got a bunch of peppers on my Dragon breath plant. way to hot. I can eat Carolina reapers but these are too much. made the skin peel in my mouth after eating one. So now I make powder with them. The heat lasted about two hours on my lips. Never had that from a super-hot before. I still need to try my yellow Reapers. First year i have grown them and they are almost ready.
The super hot peppers and extracts that go above that is great! Alltough, Tolerance to the heat in the mouth seems to build, but the internals doesnt. Do you eventually build tolerance internally aswell?
You need to make this at least one time a week special I would like to see the progress of Davids tolerance until he gets to the point where it's not bothering him to eat super hots I think it would be very informative. Thanks guys!
I'VE BEEN UP BINGE-WATCHING DAVID AND GOLIATH AND DAVID GETS LIKE ELMER FUDD ALMOST EVERY TIME AND IT GETS FUNNIER AND FUNNIER EVERY TIME I WATCH AN EPISODE!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
By now, how does David not prepare himself with paper towels? He totally thought that dragon breath wasn’t kicking in and Johnny was just chilling waiting like “yeah, any second now and my pupil is going for those paper towels!“ Ha ha haha 🤣
You got lucky with David. Most people would cuss and curse and that guy is right as rain and such a nice dude. You 2 are great together in these videos. I posted this to my wifes Facebook page and said he's back for more.
I can tell he was raised right just by how he acts in front of the camera. Same goes for you buddy. I dont miss any of your videos and its not just because your a true pepper beast but how you act towards others. Im proud to be a member of the family.
Dude this is so awesome to watch! I’m honestly jealous watching these. I want to be apart! I always take a bite of cheese with some pepper X sauce from hot ones to enjoy the experience a little better with you guys. Keep chasing that heat!!
Personally, I'm finding that cap cramps are what is holding me back from going much hotter than what I can presently handle. In terms of the peppers I've grown this season, habaneros (golden or chocolate varieties) no problem, I can eat a whole pod without much problems. The trinidad scorpion, not so much. I get cap cramps that are so bad that I can't go all out and eat the whole pod. The heat in my mouth or throat doesn't bother me in the least, it's once the burn hits my stomach that I'm in trouble. But, I can't resist keeping on trying, hmmm...
@@ChaseTheHeat thanks for the encouragement, I'll tough it out - I may not be a David or a Goliath, but I will keep chasing the heat with you brothers. My backyard is filled with all kinds of gorgeous superhot pods, some ripening now, some still green. Wish I could share! peace
I'm growing my own dragon. He's got A LOT of fruit for a super hot. On the plant, they look EVIL! They're very bitter tasting. The Dragon's Breath was first grown in Wales, which is why they got that name. Beyond that they're HORRIFICALLY hot.
Johnny I saw you had some Bravado blueberry ghost sauce, I have the same sauce been eating it and I'm wondering how many scovilles you think it is? Ive got the wild peanuts from Blazing and I think they're hotter. How much do you have to consume to feel the full scale? I was assuming maybe an ounce? This one is great! DAVID is a BEAST!! Hes gonna beat alot of people to THE TUBE LOL KEEP IT UP GUYS
Love these videos! Quick recommendation... split pods down the middle like you do normally but then swap with each other. Similarly to the way you approached the series with the twin pepper pods to try and make sure you guys got the same heat levels. 🔥👍🔥
David, back for more punishment? You're a beast young padawan! Adding more capsaicin to your circulatory system? Nice super-hot there Damian. Way to bring on the pain! LOL - u want your endorphin rush Johnny. Tip: Keep a grey board handy to put behind the pods so the camera will focus, or put your hand sideways.
@@ChaseTheHeat - yeah, that could work too. As a photographer, I know a "grey board" helps balance lighting and colors. But the Caroline Kinard board would probably work just as well.
What part of PA?? Lancaster county here. I live with all the Amish :) They grow some amazing produce lol but never found any exotic peppers. You guys are the Mens lol aka the Man :-p
Peppers can absolutely make your tongue swell. Jalapenos will do the same for me. It's not that they're hot, but there's some sort of reaction. I will end up with marks on the sides of my tongue from my teeth. It happens like clockwork. It doesn't give me a speech impediment, but it's freaky.... and it certainly doesn't stop me from eating hot foods.
Asaph, Denbighshire, Wales, who said that he had not planned to breed the chili for record heat, but rather was trying to grow an attractive pepper plant. Due to the nationality of the farmer who cultivated the pepper in Wales, it was named Dragon's Breath after the Welsh dragon.
They made some SHU claims that were ridiculous, and the claim it would kill someone immediately told me it was shady and sketchy. A hot pod, sure, but the hottest, not a chance
After watching a ton of these videos and seeing David go through the motions I finally managed to get some Komodo dragons from my local Tesco’s. After watching this vid where David mentions reoccurring capsaicin cramps, I’m a little put off! Is there anything that can stop the cramps?

Not sure about cool, he's on 🔥
"This is the pepper they say can kill somebody, so we are going to make David eat this." David just grabs it like okay Lmao made me chukle too funny!

@Rude Mood Vegan That weird dude with a boot on his head? I'll pass but thanks anyway lol
I love how he went from like scotch bonnets to these in just a few videos. He’s going to have him snorting capsaicin crystals by next week.
Johnny, when you put the peppers up to the camera, if you hold them about 4-6 inches further back, it should focus way faster. There is a minimum distance it needs to focus, and you are coming in just a tad too tight.
Keep up the awesome!
Next time just split them in half and then swap one half so you are both essentially eating the same thing.
Cha-ching!
My advice exactly 💯
Johnny when the pod goes in : I'm glad I'm doing this ....
David when the pod goes in: Why am I doing this ....
