Nick kinda sucks however in this set up with this grp he is pure gold. I think this is more of the team is greater than the sum of its parts. I am not sure any of them by themselves are great but as a trio they really have found their groove. They crush all the time.

This show catchin up to inside the NBA in terms of how much it puts a smile on my face to watch, even my pops said he smiles more frequently watching this than inside the NBA and knowing how much of a Barkley fan he is I can't think of any higher compliment.
I was in college in 2014 and i had a friend who was a sports radio broadcasting major. I asked him "who is the best in the business" and he said Cowherd by a mile. Anyone who is in he business respects him the most. That got me into The Herd and i still love Colin's takes, even if they are sometimes silly. I remember Colin bringing on Nick as a protege in the early days of FS1 and it was pretty obvious how great he was to me almost immediately. That dude was just different. Better. It's awesome to see how far he has come, living out his potential. I really enjoy the chemistry of this show, the emergence of Wildes as a genuinely fun and great host/commentator, and also a bit of a career Renaissance for Chris Broussard, who has been great for a long time in lesser roles and is getting more shine now. I genuinely hope they keep this energy and crew together for as long as they can. I hope they find ways to make the money work for everyone and don't let egos eventually get in the way. Appreciate it now folks because you never know how long a great show will stay great. Fingers crossed they keep it up for years to come!
This show continues to be genius. We're gonna look back on this as the greataest sports show ever once its run is over (which hopefully won't be for a very long time).

This show started off with a few rough years.....but lately become a favorite of mine...they really found their footing with these 3....and bringing in more humor and antics while still doing good takes and not milking the "hot takes" style has really worked for them. Plus the 3 guys' chemistry is just golden now.

The rule book states TWISTING, PULLING, OR TURNING THE FACEMASK OR HELMET OPENING No player shall grasp and control, twist, turn, push, or pull the facemask or helmet opening of an opponent in any direction. That was done in the endzone. I'm hearing conflicting opinions on it. They may have had the right call.

Not facemask+safety. The commentary was all over it and admitted the officiating crew got it wrong. Chiefs got hosed on that play. But the officials are humans and they aren’t perfect (obviously)

Cowboys are currently the #4 offense at earning a new set of downs. They went to the redzone on 6/8 true drives on sunday. Only scored TDs on 2/6 trips tho. If they figure out the redzone stuff that offense could go ballistic
Been a die hard Chief's fan since 1969. The infuriating thing about today's squad is they play UP or DOWN to the level of competition. They can convincingly beat one of the best teams in the league one week and almost get beat by a freaking bum like the Jets or (last year) the Texans the next week. Losing Biniemy was a bigger issue than most people think. And yes I know EB didnt call the plays it was all Andy Reid but right now theres nobody that's willing to call Mahomes out when he's playing hero ball and forcing throws. Mahomes is once again going away from proper mechanics and fundamentals and its because nobody is holding him accountable like Biniemy did. There's been so many plays that he's holding onto the ball when theres nothing open instead of throwing it out
You ain't wrong. And Andy calls the plays, he doesn't make all of them. Does Matt Nagy only prep screen passes? The fact that Bienemy is now gone and our offense has been complete trash for the full month that we've been without him is no coincidence.
Nick's willingness to make excuses for his team is almost admirable. If Mahomes would have still converted on 3rd and 32, as someone with no vested interest in the game, I'd have rather watched that than watch the refs pick and choose which flags they felt like enforcing every play. Bad calls on both sides does not make the game better, more fair, or more fun to watch, it just makes it feel like a waste of time.
Mahomes ran for the 1st down on 3rd and 22 because of that massive hold, don't do that now. Were there bad calls against the Chiefs? Yes, but that does not wipe out how bad the refs were at critical points in this game.
Let’s think about this though. Would they even be “critical moments” if there weren’t momentum affecting calls on the Chiefs that resulted in points for the Jets?

Nick's willingness to make excuses for his team is almost admirable. If Mahomes would have still converted on 3rd and 32, as someone with no vested interest in the game, I'd have rather watched that than watch the refs pick and choose which flags they felt like enforcing every play.
Bad calls on both sides does not make the game better, more fair, or more fun to watch, it just makes it feel like a waste of time.

Let’s think about this though. Would they even be “critical moments” if there weren’t momentum affecting calls on the Chiefs that resulted in points for the Jets?
