Things Change In An Instance

Today, I share an update since my last video ‘Getting Through The Holidays’ which I’ve linked below. I talk about how I was going into Christmas thinking it was going to be smooth sailing as Ben was in detox and seemed to be on the road to recovery. To my surprise, he left detox 2 days later. I’m sharing this because things can change in an instance. It is out of my control what Ben chooses to do. What stays the same is ME. What I choose to do and how I choose to react is what’s most important and the only thing I CAN control.

My daughter was not invited either. It was hard, but we had a good day. My daughter choose not talk to me on Christmas. It was really sad. She is still not in treatment and I am not exactly sure what she is currently thinking. It's all hard. I am also in self care mode, trying hard to stay in my lane and wait for her to go.
I miss her terribly.
