When you eat fruits/ veg, the tree/ plant doesn’t die and the seeds that get released only help produce more fruits/ plants. Plants though responsive to touch don’t have the pain receptors and a nervous system to feel the pain like animals do, who also release the same stress hormones as humans do with their fight/ flight reflexes. At least the plant feeling the pain at same level is not proven as yet! If we put our differences aside and look at the animal kingdom with compassion, every specie has a right to exist as long as not harming humans. After all, going by the theory of evolution, animals came first on this planet and humans have encroached on their spaces. Otherwise, most human beings at whatever level are hypocritical in their own way to an extent. Being considerate to the animal kingdom is a start!

Just eat normally mate. Every person I know who did fasting ended up rebounding in a bad way. Breakfast is the power for the day, especially when you are travelling for a living. Even when fasting, you need to hydrate in places like India.
