Fantastic job Nate! The pork tenderloin came out nice and juicy and love the idea of that strawberry reaper jelly plus a bit of hickory smoke. Have a great weekend brother!

Nate my good friend, great recipe & don't change a thing in this recipe. My wife & i just had these 2 days ago, but plugged them with garlic cloves & roasted them, we call them backstraps here as folks get confused between what pork tenderloin vs pork loin is. We are blessed cause here in Kentucky, hickory is free, just cut it yourself, it is everywhere, & i can make fancy rectangular planks , but the meat cooks just as well on a plank that is just big enough for the meat, just hack it thin as a plank.

Nice one Nate! How does the sugar in the jelly cancel out the heat from the peppers for you mate?

It wasnt all that spicy - but thats probably because the jelly isnt really that hot to me. Thanks Simon!!

Nate, btw, do wild strawberries grow in your area?, just curious. We can plant strawberries, but wild strawberries grow randomly here & a little sour, they grow on a small leaf plant about the size of a dandelion. Blackberry/blueberry/loganberry grow here also along fence lines or at the front edge where heavy woods areas start near briar patches, they aren't as big as a regular strawberry, appx. the size of a small grape

We have strawberry plants that grow like weeds in our lawn. Cheers Steve!

@@WhiteThunderBBQ that is great pal, if you like to eat them like me, cheers Nate, btw, i wonder how your wild strawberries would taste with the reaper, & made into a spicy hot jam, ever tried that ? Sounds like it might work
