Just a thought: you mention that your teacher did something great for you, but you didn't big him up! You should credit him - we all give our teachers such grief at school, it's nice to send a shout out that'll make him proud :)

I know I'm not the UA-cam you're asking...but I have recently switched from a Bach 3C to a Schilke 14A4A and in my opinion it is a great mouthpiece. Unfortunately I have to work more to have a better tone but this mouthpiece helps me play louder and higher notes clearer... (which is why I use it for marching band hahaha) hope you find something that works for you ^~^

If you don't already have the high notes, changing mouthpieces won't help you.

Excuse me, in jazz scales don't you have to add the 9? it sounds way better and goes along with the swing

It is very, very annoying and hard to me when it comes to the 2nd part height part. I just wind up cracking the sound or it sounds as if I am just rising up the scale like normal. :(

Swing feel is not an articulation. Instead, it refers to the rhythmic interpretation of eighth notes. Articulations are defined as follows: There are many types of articulation, with each having a different effect on how the note is played. Some articulation marks include the slur, phrase mark, staccato, staccatissimo, accent, sforzando, rinforzando, and legato. Each articulation is represented by a different symbol placed above or below the note (depending on its position on the staff
