They were! Berta & Mario started dating a half year before production of the movie. Unfortunately they broke up literally a few a days before 2017 new year. Was hoping they would do another movie together but guess that won't be happening anytime soon.

I stumbled on this movie yesterday and I’m OBSESSED , omg my tears just rolled , what love and so sad. This women is gorgeous . Love 💕 is beautiful ! My husband and I are well travelled and we both had never heard of this place so researched it. Wow . Something to learn everyday in life. Ethiopian women are known to be gorgeous , I’m South African. I’m not a TV person but am so happy I found this , I am learning about this beautiful lady . I watched something similar last year on a flight , and it was also beautiful. The light between Oceans.
I'm so damn obsessed with this movie. I even learned the history about equatorial Guinea cuz I was so heart broken and bothered why he couldn't come back and get her that time. They belong together forever damn it! Their love for one another gives me tingles all over my body. I keep repeating the sweet love scenes they have. And the way he looks at her just got me melted. I cried and then I was mad cuz he had to leave her because of stupid Macia's creed. All Spaniards had to leave and never to return. But then I googled the history after ten years the then first president was over thrown. I mean, Killian should have came back after that happen. So he can be with her again, damn it! I love this movie. I'm so obsessed with this.

OMG! I've never cried at a trailer before in my life. So much emotion in just a few minutes. I need to watch it. A movie that can offer not only a message but makes us feel the story, is one to remember.

Awesome, so many emotions, I changed my favourite couple from Tristan and Isolde (second couple Achilles and Priam (Troy)) to Killian and Bisila forever... I like the reality of this film, sad but real in sometimes ago.

This reminds me of a book I read called flowers in the snow it's almost the same a black young girl being saved by a KKK's son and they later fall in love as they grew up but they couldn't be together because of the world's circumstances that time and yeah it was a great emotional story.

Je ne connaissais pas du tout ce film! Sans même en connaître l'histoire grâce à ton editing j'ai été stupéfaite par la beauté de ce film et des émotions qui s'en dégagent.
Il est vraiment magnifique, il dur quasiment 3h mais on ne s'ennui pas du tout, une belle fresque historique et bien sur une sublime histoire d'amour!Il est disponible sur Netflix c'est comme ça que je l'ai découvert et je le conseille vivement!
Je ne suis pas familière avec l'Amérique latine (je crois que c'est l'Amerique latine) j'ai hâte de voir cette fresque historique!! merci
Le film est espagnol et parle de la colonisation espagnol sur l'île de Bioko en Nouvelle Guinée, je t'avouerais je connaissais pas du tout le sujet !
je n'avais aucune idée qu'il y avait eu colonisation d'une île en Nouvelle Guinée par les espagnoles.Il faut que je me remette à l'espagnole -_- , je suis plus orientée vers l'Asie et les pays anglophones En tout cas, merci d'avoir partagé ce film :D

Marina Vivian he had to leave the island because of a law that was passed and he could never come back and yes one of the sons were killian's and killian did get married and have kids such a sad ending I wish they could've ended up together

Marina Vivian hi I know for sure that the child wasn't from her husband because the child was mixed and killian told her no one would notice the difference implying that no one would know the child was mixed and I'm not sure if the child was from one of the men that raped her that could be possible I'm not sure and killian left the island because of a law that was passed and because of the law all Spanish people had to leave and never come back to the island and by the time the law was removed he was already married with kids and the reason why he remarried was because of the pressure of society back then for a man to marry and have kids

Cette video est tout simplement magnifique ! Ça fait longtemps que j'ai entendu parler de ce film mais impossible de trouver une version française (pas étonnant) ni même une anglaise. Et vu que tu es française je pense que tu pourras m'aider: est ce que tu sais où je pourrais le regarder en streaming mais en sous titré en anglais ?
