I'm so impressed with this young lady not only is she a superb musician, her deportment is that of someone many years older than her age. She also seems like very a humble young lady. I wish her the best and pray that God keeps her safe from harm and continues to bless her and her parents.
Looking at Sujari, I do not see a cellist. I see a human being transform into her instrument, a person with wild musical energy that feels the music she plays. There is a fierce pride in her movement comparable to a dance. But this dance is powerful and sensitive. To see that this breathtaking performance is done by an 11 year old just proves that humanity can transcend itself to be more than just skin and bones. It can be MUSIC.
saint saen's the swan is when i started to fall in love with cello too. and elgar is my favorite concerto for cello! incredible depth and for her to be jumping into that at 11 is phenomenal. would love to hear how she interpreted the concerto
She is very good and musical. But labels such prodigy may do her disservice because what the word implies. She should just be allowed to develop and mature as a person and as a musician and follow where her passion takes her.
Well, it may sound naïve or bumptious but, I myself feel I would be able to play the piano with that passion. I just know it because music for me is like blood in my vein, like a shiver. But I'm 37now and I'm aware I won't make this dream come true because I had no such an opportunity. I'm not complaining, I'm just saying there is a lot of virtuosi on the streets, in humble houses etc., just waiting for the right people to take a look at them. May G'd bless them so, like He blessed this girl.
My family always say i'm a prodigy at what i do because i'm talented at a lot more things than most kids my age but then i watch these videos and feel like crap.
Hey Sujari and your parents too, so good to see you blooming at your passion! My neighbours have a lil girl from Uganda called Georgina and she is knockout at gaming even though she is only 4!I wish you could meet her as you would inspire her and make her family understand what a little diamond they have in her and help her to develop her talent. She is a little genius and gaming is the only way she is able to show her 'super talent'. You understand what I mean. She says Hi! Please say Hi back!
She's incredible! but I don't think you could say she "rivals" yo-yo ma, at least not yet. one does not simply "rival" the greatest musician in a field. THNKR, please don't sensationalize individuals. despite her talent, she has a ways to go before she reaches ma's level.
she's 11 and is so mature , im so jealous :)
By just listening to her voice, I wouldn't have thought she was 11! Wow.
I love how happy she is as she plays.

Well... I guess I'm going to do some more practicing...
Ugh... Why am i watching people so much better then me....
The joy in her face is amazing.

I am impressed, though it is rather far fetched to say as though she is a competitor for Yo Yo Mar!
Very cool.

You look a lot older than 11. You're gonna be great.
Saint-Saens Cello Concerto No.1 in a minor
She's incredible! but I don't think you could say she "rivals" yo-yo ma, at least not yet. one does not simply "rival" the greatest musician in a field. THNKR, please don't sensationalize individuals. despite her talent, she has a ways to go before she reaches ma's level.
