I was listening to this this morning at 6am. Couldn't sleep anymore, but didn't want to get up. It had been raining all night and everything was so quiet. My 7 year old daughter woke up, came into our bed and just flopped right on top of me like a soft blanket and fell back asleep. Pure bliss. It was like the universe conspired to grant me 30 minutes of pure, calming joy.

All ive ever known in life from birth on thru my childhood was taught to me by others. It wasnt until i experimented with psychadelics that I started to put the pieces together of the puzzle called life... My realization that we are all intertwined and connected changed my perception of what life is truly about. I found a connection to nature,to all living things past and present, as well as a purpose in my existence. Life is a brief moment where time has stopped long enough to leave a footprint in the sand that the waves will wash away... it is the love, kindness and compassion we spread, in our moment, that will never be undone or forgotten. Love is all we ever are and will be. This music reminded me of who I am at my core, as its easy to forget in the grind of living who we really are and what really matters..Peace to all

After all these years, still my number one chillstep mix.
This just came back up on my home page after all these years. It’s like an old friend paying me a visit. I found this mix during the favorite part of my life thus far. My friends and I would just smoke weed and play this song with the lights off while we talked about life in my shitty room in high school. Fuck I miss those times like nothing else. One of my childhood dogs next to me. She’s passed now. I haven’t seen most of those friends in awhile either. Shit, it’s been years since I’ve been in that room I grew up in. Although after growing up I’m sure it wouldn’t even feel the same being there, just like most things. Anyways I’m sure no one will read this, but that’s okay. I just had to leave my mark on this video. Although it’s nowhere near the size of the mark this has left of me.

positive is good, negative is fine too, just as long as we don't get stuck in either. true happiness and freedom is found in the balance between polarities. no longer needing either in order to exist, but being able to equally appreciate all things is where it's at for me. you only live once, and for all.

It is kind of crazy to think about if someone from another planet or something had never listened to music, never experienced it and never could experince it. There would be just no way for them to understand or for us to explain to them how music really feels. I mean even your imagination is limited to a certain extent. Edit: it's been two years, i finally decided to just listen to the full video, and I just got hit with a huge wave of nostalgia. Back when my dad lived in a small room in his friends house. We listened to this there every night and it was amazing, but I stopped listening to it ever since we moved. I stumbled upon it a couple days ago and didn't know what it was, but it kept popping up, so I listened to it earlier today, and I almost started crying.
