This is quite nice... stopped there on my way back to South Carolina and got a bunch of 200G repeaters and a 688 shot barrage candle. They are very nice to work with. I will be going back for another load out but may need to do a wholesale or by the case purchase. NYE show needs to pop off well and then 4th of July after that has to go big!
Was just there a few weeks ago with some of my neighbors. We filled the entire bed of my truck up! Great store and prices and a must when sale is going on! Just to jump in on your holding Roman candle comment. Years back I had one blow up in my hand right above my thumb like a bomb. If it was 1in lower I would have list fingers or hand (I did not get injured fyi). Learned to never do again!
We appreciate you shopping with us! And you've certainly experienced first hand why you shouldn't hold roman candles. It's rare, but sometimes a product can malfunction and you don't want it in your hand when that happens. Thanks for sharing!
Your store and prices are amazing. I am disgusted by the prices at competitors compared to this. I for one will be making the trip to your retail store from the Bradenton area for my 4th/New Years fireworks from now on or ordering from your wholesale website. I am curious as to what law(s) prevent Superior from having locations in other parts of Florida. Do the other stores down here have a monopoly or something? We should start a petition!
The state currently has a moratorium on new fireworks stores until the legislature can decide how it wants to handle fireworks laws moving forward. However, that's been the case for over a decade and they never revisited the issue, so we're all in limbo until they decide to do something.
@@SuperiorFireworks That sucks. Wish we could get something done about that. I will support you regardless. Just would be nice to get some more competition down this way. These buy 1 get 1 stores are ridicules. They just jack the price 2.5x and make it seem like your getting a sweet deal. You guys seem like the gold standard and I can't wait to start shopping with Superior Fireworks. Thanks for taking the time to reply and explaining that!
The prices are the best in the world a better shells kit 12 shells for only 24.99 and at phantom it’s 79.99 u can get 36 shells from that store for the price of 12 shells at phantom
You'll need to reach out to your local fire marshal to see what the specific requirements are in your area but we'd be happy to talk you through some basics if you want to give us a call: 904-213-0615. We also have a blog series about running a fireworks stand that can be a good resource for you: www.superiorfireworks.com/blog/category/running-a-fireworks-stand/
Sorry but those 5 inch have 1 inch of empty cardboard because by atf standards you can't load anymore powder than what is in an Excalibur which are indeed 4 inch loaded with lift charge and detonation. I have opened many different 5 inch shells and ALL were empty 1 inch space. Its a gimmick to raise prices.
We can't dispute the fact that 5" shells are often a gimmick, which is why we held off offering a 5" shell kit for so long. We wanted to make sure that whatever we carried would provide actual value to our customers. Our team worked with the factory and had a lot of pointed discussions about this and did see justification for a shell larger than 4" for certain types of effects and compositions, which is what guided the development of The Manhattan Project. Certain effects have larger stars that take up more space even though the total comp is still under the 60 gram limit. It's true that there's still empty space, but that's just because the tubes are cut to standard sizes. Besides, we only charge $5 extra for it at retail compared to our best 4" shell kit. It's also worth noting that many 4" canister shells, including Excalibur, only run about 50-52 grams per shell. This has been documented on several UA-cam videos.
The Gun Deck Assortment is awesome! This is my favorite firework store!
