It just occurred to me that the younger collectors do not know the original releases for many of the traditional models. Pharlap is a staple as well as The Black Stallion, and omg, so many others. Younger collectors don't watch the movies?! Watch the movies! LOL I just started customizing my collection last week. I had PharLap on ebay and after someone made an offer, I pulled him off. I just couldn't do it. All these horses are so special to me. Time to read Sandomingo kids. (I might call them kids but they are my "customizing gooroos"; these kids really know their techniques!
The honey PAM is pretty rare, she'd be a good one to keep OF. The LP Breezing Dixie was made for one year, this one's not the rarer variant with the slate gray painted hooves, but still really cool! Both of those molds have less rare variations out in the world better for customizing
❤ Super fun! Ditto on the PAM, you may want to keep her. Propably keep the Breezing Dixie (Lady Phase). There were several iterations of her released. It could be that you've got one of the rare types. You basically opened up like 1/20th of my collection... cause I'm old, so this was fun. (I've got around 300 also) 😂 I can't wait to see what you do with them. Your an amazing artist. P.S. your hair paint technique, I would like to suggest that you keep it proprietary 😉. If you share it consider doing paid classes rather than just YT it to the world. I'm happy to share the full idea of the classes if that would be something you'd consider. Art is valuable, you're skilled enough, experienced enough, and definitely have the ability to host teaching classes.
I’ve heard lots about the PAM & Lady Phase here in the comments. Super awesome to know! Thanks! I already have two courses on my website. I plan to do more.
It was a blast from the past seeing a few of those horses. I lost a box of horses in a move and khemosabi was in that box. So wonderful to see them, thank you for sharing your unboxings.
I got Breezing Dixie when she came out and even though I liked the mold lot I never was very happy with her, I really did not like how her blanket had a halo of black paint, also back in the day the masking was never very crisp and I never liked that. I would have loved her if she was just solid bay.
OH MY GOD the lil red morgan is Sherman Morgan! Hes super rare! Hes from a series of 6 molds called the Artists' Series and theyre 1:10 scale. I have 3 of them and Sherman is the rarest bc they had to replace his tail. You got him for FREE? Heck! I wish i was that lucky. Keep him OF too!
i loved the PAM 3:05 and lady face 5:37 they are so cool and pretty😍 looking. i think that romer is a good mold to customize the appaloosa with the cool white face is a good one too to customize
The black stallion had multiple molds done on him since the movie and books were published. 3 famous molds for Black are: Sham,Foundation stallion, & the Black Stallion. Classic scale have a new mold for him. Which I'm getting for Christmas
I love Lady Phase! I have that black Appaloosa Running Stallion, he was my first ever Breyer. The Black Stallion one I've had since he first came out. You got some great horses there!
The lady phase is named Breezing Dixie and the running chestnut you didn't know what it was called is the original release on Phar Lap, so his name is the same in both mold and model
@@DeeJayBeStudios oh, was she in less than good condition? I paid somewhere around 150 for one. I just know that those old mold PAMs with straight left fore leg and no Breyer stamp are from the late 1950s and can sell for quite a bit. I was surprised to see her in your big box with a bunch of '70s and '80s models. What an exciting opening that was!

Oh wow! She does have the slate grey hooves. The PAM is in rough condition. But maybe I’ll salvage the Breezing Dixie to a better home.
She is rare? Maybe I’ll keep mine because she hasn’t been selling

Wow! What a haul! They're all lovely, and such a lovely person to send them to you for FREE! Hope you have a lovely holiday season Darynn :D
So kind! Thank you! Happy Holidays to you too
I don't collect Breyers anymore but I did in the era these models were from and had several of them... so, fun!
Also, I definitely remember all their names. Spent many an hour studying the catalogs. LOL.
Yes! I remember those days too. You never forget ❣️
I gave away my childhood Breyers to a friend's child. As I'm watching this i recognize every single one of those lol
The one you called Appaloosa stock horse yearling is what I played with as a kid. I still have her.
That’s awesome!

Awe that’s a bummer! Definitely some oldies but goodies.
Woah that lady phase is gorgeous!! And can’t wait to see what you do with the G1s!!
Yeah, she is surprisingly nice! Maybe she will need a new home.

The Lady Phase is absolutely beautiful. I'd keep her like she is.
I just might

@@DeeJayBeStudios oh awesome!
The solid black Arabian horse breyer traditional mold... is famous MGM movie star & book series Black stallion. I own Black on 3 molds.
Yes he is!
The running chestnut horse was Pharlap . I have to giggle because I actually have 4 of those models.
The black stallion had multiple molds done on him since the movie and books were published. 3 famous molds for Black are: Sham,Foundation stallion, & the Black Stallion. Classic scale have a new mold for him. Which I'm getting for Christmas
The Black stallion is a wonderful movie.
@@DeeJayBeStudios that's my favorite movie.

Lovely models! Hope you can find them one day!
7:08 "3 to 4 business years" I am not alone in my projects extended deadlines :D
Let’s not fool ourselves 🤣
@@DeeJayBeStudios Lol!!
LP is Breezing Dixie and tends to go for a bit! With the battleship grey hooves, yours would be worth even more
I see that!! Thanks for letting me know

Wow that’s amazing! So jealous though 😂. I can’t wait to see what you do with them :)
I’m very thankful
I’d love to Sherman Morgan custom
Awesome!😊
lol “3-4 business years” lol I snorted 🤣🤣🤣
Where and how much do you usually have to pay for Beryer horse models usually to customize them?
Breyers in traditional scale are usually anywhere from $30-$50.
So lucky!❤😊
It was a great gift ❣️
So COOL!!!!!!❤
Thanks!
I had every single one of these as a kid lol
Wow I'm so jelly u get all dose horses for free 😅
Khemosausage what a good start to the unboxing xD
Every good unboxing starts with a Khemosausage. 🤣

OMG -- I hope you didn't customize that old mold honey bay Proud Arabian Mare! She is quite rare and sells for $100 to $200 these days.
She only sold for $60
