This was the first year my husband and I kept Sukkot. My favorite part was meeting like minded people, Fellowship, praising and dancing for Yahusha! We also learned so much, like there is ox blood and pork in most wine. Leather bound Bible covers unless otherwise specify are made of pigskin. We also learned how many products we use in our everyday life that has pork.
It is fun and a blessing to see a fellow believers light shine, in fact the entire family had their lights shinning. You are just naturally drawn to these people.
It is hard when you think your the only one around keeping Torah and get so excited when you meet others who keep Torah.
    Can't wait until next year!

So happy to see you all happy. It's so sad that people hate us for our faith, and for being G-d's, baruch Hashem, chosen people. I was guilty of hating you, too because my father and sometimes, my mom, when I was little, abused us so I hated everything and the whole world. It had put me on a path to hell and prison. It was G-d's Word, and The Lord, baruch Hashem. Ever since, I can't how wonderful G-d's people are!!! Too bad, I didn't really know and believe it sooner.

      Betty DeMers
We used to live in south Cali near the imperial desert and when the full moon came out, the desert glowed and looked like snow. In the winter we could see snow on the mountains. It was beautiful.
We also lived in Apache junction in Arizona and stayed in Texas for awhile
We were going to move to New Mexico, when we drove down 25 to 10 at night from Colorado, the lights near El Paso looked heavenly. My husband and I were over the road truck drivers and we shared His Word with others.
At that time we believed in a rapture. And another driver told us the rapture was a rupture and a full orange juice bottle fell and broke and got everywhere in his truck. At that time we thought it was YaH showing him he was wrong, but we were wrong, it was the demons not wanting us to know the truth. Now I feel bad that we rejected what he was saying.
Another guy, a Christian, recently told us how he asked god for a bottom feeder cat fish and he had a miracle of catching a 69 lb cat fish on the pagan birthday celebration that he turned 69. Now I definitely know that the demons can bless people while they think it is from YaH. YaH will not bless with the unclean thing that isn’t considered food. We told him a few things that might spark and cause the man to turn his head but he wasn’t ready to hear that the cat fish wasn’t a blessing.
For those at home celebrating with YaH alone there’s a video I’ll share here for you. I don’t condone the man that does the videos but the guy in the video had some awesome revealing sin the Word and what his family did for sukkot. And we have watched Ushpizin movie at some time during sukkot in the past.

      And this is amazing too!

But it says a hair is her covering. Pulling hair up shows the body.
The prostitutes covered their heads in the TaNaK.
I don’t know if that is right cuz in the Greek before the English translation it says not to cover the head with handkerchiefs.
I stopped cutting my hair now.

Joyce Obeys if you choose not to cover that’s your choice. I try to encourage ladies that wear headcovering because I see headcovering as a crown for a daughter of the King of the Universe, a physical symbol of a spiritual protection. I see headcovering removed in Numbers 5:18 during the adultery test. Isaiah 47:2. Psalm 140:7 hints at headcovering as a protection. 1 Corinthians 11 talks about headcovering. Long hair is beautiful as well, usually a conviction. I hope your hair grows long.

My hair is now over 3 ft long.
Actually I studied the passage in the Renewed covenant/NT in the word for word Greek to English and I believe it was called on my computer in e-Sword the ANT Bible or I think it was the analytical translation from the Greek. I don’t have my computer anymore and can’t get it or find it for my phone. I’ll look for it again though and try to share it. It’s an amazing eye opener to how scurvy king James did to the Holy Word in many places. It’s a bit twisted and it was translated also somewhat against women instead of the inter relationship of a woman and a man in YaH. They left some of it and twisted other places and stripped truth out. Like the holy days are twisted and changed because they wanted to keep the traditions of the English clergy.
      Conviction is important.
But I don’t see it here:
“Rescue me, ADONAI, from evil people, protect me from violent people. They plan evil things in their hearts - they continually stir up bitter strife. They have made their tongues as sharp as a snake’s; viper’s venom is under their lips. (Selah) Keep me, ADONAI, from the hands of the wicked, protect me from violent people who are trying to trip me up. The arrogant hide snares for me; they spread nets by the side of the road, hoping to trap me there. (Selah) I said to ADONAI, “You are my God; listen, ADONAI, to my plea for mercy.” ADONAI, Adonai, my saving strength, my helmet shielding my head in battle, ADONAI, don’t grant the wicked their wishes; make their plot fail, so they won’t grow proud. (Selah) May the heads of those who surround me be engulfed in the evil they spoke of, themselves. May burning coals rain down on them, may they be flung into the fire, flung into deep pits, never to rise again. Let slanderers find no place in the land; let the violent and evil be hunted relentlessly. I know that ADONAI gives justice to the poor and maintains the rights of the needy. The righteous will surely give thanks to your name; the upright will live in your presence.”

Unfortunately the FDA made him remove the video and he had to remove the info from his site. Not even sure if Dr Mercola's video on UA-cam is even still up. Never know these days. Praying for their complete healing. Blessings and Shalom.

I created a Sukkah on my porch. This is my first year and I am flying 'solo.' Any ideas for a party of one?

Same with us, my husband and I are by ourselves because we don’t like that everyone gets intoxicated and it’s not because they are having pain. It just seems wrong.
We are at this time being persecuted by our awful landlord. We share with him kindly and seems to accept it but he is lazy and busted the septic pipes from the house instead of fixing it. There is now poop flowing through our yard and got on our plants trees greenhouse and fishpond. It’s overwhelming to say the least about what we are going though. My husband has neuropathy and we truly need to move but the place went from spotless and organized to pure chaos. We are trying to move but we have been here 8 years and dug ourselves in pretty deep here and finding it hard to leave. My husband is suffering and cannot hardly help and our children are way up north. The acquaintances we had have moved away. We are not on social media. But we study a lot since he had to retire. The landlord threatens to evict us every time we want him to fix the sewer and where we are, there are not many laws to protect tenants. So we made a decision yesterday that we were going to finally turn him in. But he is threatening to evict us for our Sukkot in the front yard because the back yard is full of poop. In my heart I want him to have salvation but at the same time I want to be like Elijah and have fire come down on him and his alcoholic step son that lives next to us who is also trying to make us miserable. But we aren’t as righteous as Elijah to ask for such a thing. At least though we are to be perfect it seems I keep having sins of hatred in my heart but I truly would rather they would have Shalom. As a Christian I Loved everyone and prayed for them and I never got upset but now in seeing all the enemies I’m finding it harder.
I’m wanting prayer not only that this landlord be stopped but also for me and my husband that we would have peace no matter what they are doing. We would so much appreciate it.
And getting on to Sukkot, we pray that all His set apart are all made complete and whole and have His perfect peace, not only just at Sukkot but forever! Much Ahabah!

Deuteronomy 31:10 And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of every seven years, in the solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles,
Deuteronomy 31:11 When all Israel is come to appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing.
Read the torah. Some take this to mean just the book of Deuteronomy. I’ve been listening to it with the Bible app.
I’m also doing it solo, mostly because no one follows the calendar I do.

I wish we were there so much. Website said for invite only. We have been searching for jobs in the area just so we can move closer to like minded people to do Feast together. We are set up in our front yard this year. If blessed we will have a new community before next years. My kids are lonely for like minded friends too.

Shalom Saints of the most high Yah. We are doing Sukkot at home with our 2 boys. Its rained here on the east coast seems like forever. The night before sukkot started we got 3 1/2 inches of rain so we put tent up inside our house. What is the board game that the saints are playing? Enjoy the rest of the feast. Blessings 💖

Hi there! I just had a question. What Bible version(s) do you think are most accurate? I currently read out of the NKJV and NIV. I know there are versions I've heard of like The Scriptures where they to use some Hebrew words. But, I would personally like a version in plain English. I have a hard enough time in my own language! Lol. Thank you!
