Nice video Ms Yam, very good job on changing them springs!! You look pretty handy with them tools. Take care and keep safe, Kevin.
+hippykdb Thanks Kevin! Ya, I'm pretty handy with tools and enjoy doing that kind of work. That little machine has taught me a lot about small engines. Last Spring I did a fair bit of engine work on it. It's always a work in progress. Take care, Jen.
Awesome job, done with calm and determination!!! Congratulations!!!
Thanks! I hope nothing breaks on the machine this year!
Great job replacing the torsion springs Jen... I recently had to replace the idler wheels on both of my Yamahas! They are now configured where the entire bearing and wheel have to be replaced unless you choose to go with Kimpex which is a 1/4 of the cost, which I obviously did! I see you have the same socket set as I have as well, the Stanley Fatmax kit! They are great tools! Thanks for sharing an happy riding once again! :)
+Dave Wilcox Jr Thanks Dave! Definitely the cheaper option is better! I need to replace mine too. More to add to the list. Ya, love that tool kit. Durable and has a lot of what I need at my finger tips.

love the whippoorwill. I have those around my house all the time, they like to sit on my house

Good as new. Well done
+lowwkey91 Thanks! That old machine is always a work in progress. There will be lots more fun projects to work on with it. I'm glad I got her going again!
Good job Jen !! Migwech
+Kirk McCutcheon Thanks Kirk. It was a lot of fun. Now on to doing more repairs and then summerizing it now that all the snow is gone.

+Charles Dorey Thanks Charles, it turned out very well. I will upload a video in the next couple of weeks on how I recovered the seat.
it's not good when they sent the wrong part, you had a chance to do your seat also.great skidoos we had one for years.
Ya, they're great. I can't wait for the snow to fall so I can get on it again!
Cool , time to build a Timber Frame shed for the Snowmobile... yea, more building
LOL! Yes, more buildings are needed indeed. Thanks for watching.
Jen's what's cooking in the garage? channel.....just a suggestion..you can cook the things you trap...and fix a ski doo while you wait for your sauce to thicken...or pie to cool ...or whatever...LOL
+Gary Reed How bout this...I could cook on the sled with my muffler pot...while I'm fixing it. Multi-purpose video. LoL.
Now you're talking...
gotta love getting ready to go and you go nowhere lol, those parts for the older machines are getting hard to find for sure
+Gitche Gumee Outdoorsman And with all the snow gone..I have to wait to have more fun with it next year. The countdown begins!
Do they always snap
No, this was an old fatigued part. It has started to crack and then sitting on the machine was the 'straw that broke the camel's back I Ithink. I should have inspected it more carefully before the snowmobiling season started and replaced it before it's catastrophic breaking.
TheWildYam ok thanks
