I'm not gonna lie, I'm hyped for this. I hated the Cal background villain stuff and what little you see of Natalya. Keener was always a better adversary to have imo. Maybe that's just me but Cal and the Hunters blow compared to Keener and his plans.
Just Cal, I think he is alright but we never see him and we never see his plans unfold like we did keener who is the superior character in all of division. Since day one it has always been about getting keener. The hunters are as cool though with what little we knew about them and why they showed up during a severe blizzard hunting agents in the first place all those years ago. We know more now and I still like the hunters the most out of all the factions.

So we already knew that Theo could hack identities from the tombs mission, so making you think you killed Keener on Liberty Island when instead you killed a different Agent is plausible. But it appears that they can also change what you see through the contact lenses now according to the audio log, which I assume is part of ISAC's HUD that they're hacking? Which means the writers have accidentally(?) just said you cant trust anything you've seen since Warlords first came out... You killed a Hyena, nope that was a civilian. Any mission you go on is now just a mind game where you accomplish nothing... Maybe you even attacked the Whitehouse instead of an Invaded Stronghold, since they can manipulate what you see... This is such a waste and a really stupid idea... not to mention the relationship between Odessa and Kelso is now ruined, and how Kelso was the one who went to Liberty Island to kill Keener in the first place. It's just super unsatisfying and feels like they went "We need a plot twist, lets just go fk up the entire story for a cheap 'gotcha' gimmick" it really kills me wanting to play this season any further

I've said for the past year, we NEED to go Rogue and have ANNA as our SHD Directive. We should start hiding and camping in Rogue safehouses. This is great. I've been wanting to believe that my division character is the same on both games. That the story between the two is connected for my agent. And now with Keener citing the same words from the Div 1 echo in Amhersts lab, i can play like it is. It makes the game more whole. One whole story, not 2 seperate ones.
Well for me they just saved the franchise I knew they werent that stupid to kill keener off. Thank god because it is more interesting when it's not focused on military nonstop. This is the first time in a long time I'm satisfied and intrigued with this franchise.
it is kind of how things are going for the current storyline. Along it being only a matter of time until our Agent goes Rogue as well because so far Natasha and Cal has gotten almost everything they need to turn ISAC and the Division into their puppets now. We need a new AI and system to fight against them if we are going to lose ISAC to Natasha and Cal. The Rogue Network with ANNA appears to be the only thing that can be used to fight against them. We may even start meeting the Rogues that left the Division who are not as violent and hostile that focus on protecting people despite being marked Rogue in the expansion story that we only hear about in audio logs in the upcoming expansion if the Main Settlement for the expansion ends up being the place Keneer set up.

After completing the manhunt task, I didn't hear Manny say anything about "what happened to Kelso and why she became Rogue". The developers showed an image of Kelso riding a vehicle alongside Keener and Theo, and that was it. Yes, she spoke during the mission via COMMS, although it may have been due to Theo's system manipulation. We did not see a real animation of a rouge. And since we didn't see her, everything was all backtalk. We need to wait for the following season; there is no need to confuse ourselves. If it's real, we need a better explanation.
And the division is down to one agent I don’t know about Manny, but I think we could use the reinforcements😂 I mean, are there any other agents out there that still work for the division because I have so far seen few or far in between?
the past storylines recently been revealing that ISAC and the Division is not what it really is. It is becoming more of a puppet to Cal and Natasha. While our agents been fighting against them, events as slowly shifting into ISAC and the Division eventually having to serve Cal and Natasha as they manage to obtain almost everything they need to set themselves up as the next leaders of the USA which will turn the Division and ISAC mission into serving Cal and Natasha's goals instead of doing what is really right.
Wasn't expecting the game to switch us to ANNA with this mission like some people did, but its way more logical for them to do that with the upcoming expansion.
Keener died in front of us. Theo too. How are they alive? This plot twist makes no sense. Also, Kelso is either rogue, either she acts like Lau, pretending to be rogue to gather more info. But still, Ubisoft is surely going downhill with this kind of messed story.

Now Ubisoft tries to justify his actions after killing innocents by giving us the obvious "bigger evil" with Natalya. His bad actions aren't that far from Natalya's. So i wonder, this is the end of Division 2's story, we might get another season for some stuff? We continue this cliche in Division 3? Because it's the agent vs Keener, Theo, Kelso, and the whole Black Tusk, and hunters. At this point i count at least 6 main enemies. Keener, Theo, Kelso, Anderson, Natalya and Calvin McManus. So yeah, they have plenty of content for Division 3 now that they can milk the story even more. Or we can simply explore a whole story with us as rogue agents teaming up with Keener and fight against Black Tusk and hunters.

you have to replay the last level twice to get the 2 comms off the first boss before the quadcopter and then you have to replay the whole manhunt to get the last comm and a secret backpack trophy

When Kelso's watch goes rouge near the end in the van, you can kinda see her frown and shake her head. Almost as if she's having a "what the hell am I doing" argument in her head. As for what Keener's true intentions are, I got nothing. But for Kelso, I truly believe she is doing what she thinks is right. Still wish she coulda clued us in at least. Manny's a big baby, so I can understand why she wouldn't clue him in, but we at least would probably have been more understanding of her plan. Especially now that we know Faye's true motives.

AND NOW, she went rogue with two old friends who should be dead but then alive. I feel extremely sad like I'm being betrayed and deceived by her after everything we've been through together. If Manny, Paul, or Roy the characters knew gone rogue too. Can The Division still be trusted? Just like Aaron tried to persuade us everytime.
I can’t wait to see the future plot of this. Keener was always one of my favorite villains and he made some solid points. Now that’s he back and he’s willing to ally with us to do what’s right is really intriguing. “Staying the course” has gotten boring and meaningless now that we know we’re just cogs in the machine. So Kelso helped tricking everyone that Keener was dead and Theo tricking everyone he was dead doesnt surprise me. He was making clones of himself during his boss fight, easily could of just fooled ISAC into pronouncing him dead.
I did the mission 10 times and I still can't get the "Kelso 5" collectible, plus the mission doesn't say completed on the map, I would have to say repeat, it's like I'm playing it in vain.
You never know, Theo could've made more sophisticated decoys to trick us or body doubles, also by that meaning Keener was true by saying that they didn't identify his body
If Theo, Keener and Lau are still alive and they know about nataliya being a huge threat, that means they aren't actually rouges or the true enemies here. Also, keener mentioned that Cal owns the division which is absolutely crazy.
I’m genuinely happy that they’re giving keener a redemption arc. Plus now it makes total sense for how keener was treating essentially the best agent on his team and how Theo could’ve faked his death.. twice. I wish the next expansion wasn’t gonna be a year from now basically because this ending got me hyped to be a rogue agent canonically.

As I even stated in my other reply, I don’t know why he didn’t just test the eclipse on the rikers as dragov was the only member of the team he never truly got along with. He has been shown multiple times through recordings to still genuinely care about the civilians just not JTF which is completely fair after what happened to the first wave.

He dug up innocent JTF personal to fulfill Kajika's bloodlust and at least allowed the drill assault on Haven. In the books he has a plan in the works to spread eclipse though the last remaining trade network of the U.S.A and we still don't know where the missile was targeted. He's still a villain and chances are he's a worse threat then Cal and Sokolova.

So we already knew that Theo could hack identities from the tombs mission, so making you think you killed Keener on Liberty Island when instead you killed a different Agent is plausible. But it appears that they can also change what you see through the contact lenses now according to the audio log, which I assume is part of ISAC's HUD that they're hacking? Which means the writers have accidentally(?) just said you cant trust anything you've seen since Warlords first came out... You killed a Hyena, nope that was a civilian. Any mission you go on is now just a mind game where you accomplish nothing... Maybe you even attacked the Whitehouse instead of an Invaded Stronghold, since they can manipulate what you see... This is such a waste and a really stupid idea...
not to mention the relationship between Odessa and Kelso is now ruined, and how Kelso was the one who went to Liberty Island to kill Keener in the first place. It's just super unsatisfying and feels like they went "We need a plot twist, lets just go fk up the entire story for a cheap 'gotcha' gimmick" it really kills me wanting to play this season any further

This is great. I've been wanting to believe that my division character is the same on both games. That the story between the two is connected for my agent. And now with Keener citing the same words from the Div 1 echo in Amhersts lab, i can play like it is. It makes the game more whole. One whole story, not 2 seperate ones.
Well for me they just saved the franchise I knew they werent that stupid to kill keener off. Thank god because it is more interesting when it's not focused on military nonstop.

it is kind of how things are going for the current storyline. Along it being only a matter of time until our Agent goes Rogue as well because so far Natasha and Cal has gotten almost everything they need to turn ISAC and the Division into their puppets now. We need a new AI and system to fight against them if we are going to lose ISAC to Natasha and Cal. The Rogue Network with ANNA appears to be the only thing that can be used to fight against them.
We may even start meeting the Rogues that left the Division who are not as violent and hostile that focus on protecting people despite being marked Rogue in the expansion story that we only hear about in audio logs in the upcoming expansion if the Main Settlement for the expansion ends up being the place Keneer set up.
Well it's the reality, everyone go rogues cause The Division is a lie and leaders use agents for survive but don't care if they die

Im glad the Theo is alive. I genuinely did not want to kill him. His backstory alone and his motivation were less selfish. All he wanted to do was avenge his Father despite having not support from his family.

I’m a former division agent who is now going rogue. It’s about dam time
After completing the manhunt task, I didn't hear Manny say anything about "what happened to Kelso and why she became Rogue". The developers showed an image of Kelso riding a vehicle alongside Keener and Theo, and that was it. Yes, she spoke during the mission via COMMS, although it may have been due to Theo's system manipulation. We did not see a real animation of a rouge. And since we didn't see her, everything was all backtalk. We need to wait for the following season; there is no need to confuse ourselves. If it's real, we need a better explanation.

the past storylines recently been revealing that ISAC and the Division is not what it really is. It is becoming more of a puppet to Cal and Natasha. While our agents been fighting against them, events as slowly shifting into ISAC and the Division eventually having to serve Cal and Natasha as they manage to obtain almost everything they need to set themselves up as the next leaders of the USA which will turn the Division and ISAC mission into serving Cal and Natasha's goals instead of doing what is really right.
Day 1 from meeting kelso I have never trusted her. Today was the day my validation was correct.

Keener died in front of us. Theo too. How are they alive? This plot twist makes no sense. Also, Kelso is either rogue, either she acts like Lau, pretending to be rogue to gather more info. But still, Ubisoft is surely going downhill with this kind of messed story.

@@ciguret Easily? We hunt him from Division 1. At that point in WONY, he was the hardest to kill enemy. Now Ubisoft tries to justify his actions after killing innocents by giving us the obvious "bigger evil" with Natalya. His bad actions aren't that far from Natalya's. So i wonder, this is the end of Division 2's story, we might get another season for some stuff? We continue this cliche in Division 3? Because it's the agent vs Keener, Theo, Kelso, and the whole Black Tusk, and hunters. At this point i count at least 6 main enemies. Keener, Theo, Kelso, Anderson, Natalya and Calvin McManus. So yeah, they have plenty of content for Division 3 now that they can milk the story even more. Or we can simply explore a whole story with us as rogue agents teaming up with Keener and fight against Black Tusk and hunters.

Jokes aside, the fact that Keener kept us alive everytime we "met" him shows that he truly want to have us on his side. He could have just zero us so many times but no. Just listening to Manny on every missions doesn't change anything and its so tiring, the Division is way to far behind in this intelligence war. Agents fighting for those who remains is useless at this point. I remember when Theo asked Keener to extract him but Keener said no assume your fight kid, in the end we were truly deceive on this one.

When Kelso's watch goes rouge near the end in the van, you can kinda see her frown and shake her head. Almost as if she's having a "what the hell am I doing" argument in her head.
As for what Keener's true intentions are, I got nothing. But for Kelso, I truly believe she is doing what she thinks is right. Still wish she coulda clued us in at least. Manny's a big baby, so I can understand why she wouldn't clue him in, but we at least would probably have been more understanding of her plan. Especially now that we know Faye's true motives.

I 'don't know how to feel about this Manhunt. I have trusted Alani Kelso since 1st play and the game introduced her to the player. AND NOW, she went rogue with two old friends who should be dead but then alive.
I feel extremely sad like I'm being betrayed and deceived by her after everything we've been through together. If Manny, Paul, or Roy the characters knew gone rogue too.

I can’t wait to see the future plot of this. Keener was always one of my favorite villains and he made some solid points. Now that’s he back and he’s willing to ally with us to do what’s right is really intriguing. “Staying the course” has gotten boring and meaningless now that we know we’re just cogs in the machine. So Kelso helped tricking everyone that Keener was dead and Theo tricking everyone he was dead doesnt surprise me. He was making clones of himself during his boss fight, easily could of just fooled ISAC into pronouncing him dead.
I never figured out how to activate any of these things I guess I'm just dumb or thick headed

I did the mission 10 times and I still can't get the "Kelso 5" collectible, plus the mission doesn't say completed on the map, I would have to say repeat, it's like I'm playing it in vain.

If Theo, Keener and Lau are still alive and they know about nataliya being a huge threat, that means they aren't actually rouges or the true enemies here. Also, keener mentioned that Cal owns the division which is absolutely crazy.

Plus now it makes total sense for how keener was treating essentially the best agent on his team and how Theo could’ve faked his death.. twice. As I even stated in my other reply, I don’t know why he didn’t just test the eclipse on the rikers as dragov was the only member of the team he never truly got along with. He has been shown multiple times through recordings to still genuinely care about the civilians just not JTF which is completely fair after what happened to the first wave.

He dug up innocent JTF personal to fulfill Kajika's bloodlust and at least allowed the drill assault on Haven. In the books he has a plan in the works to spread eclipse though the last remaining trade network of the U.S.A and we still don't know where the missile was targeted.
He's still a villain and chances are he's a worse threat then Cal and Sokolova.

Our agent is fighting the wrong enemy, the Division will become a militia to overthrow the current president, Cal, he planned this all since game 1. The way ubiaoft made our agent (the sheriff) as the protagonist of the game is incredible
