When I was young and in a bad mood I used to clean like a maniac. When I cleaned the oven my husband always asked me what was wrong. Lol❤

I hope that you had a wonderful Mother's Day - it was also Mother's Day here in the U.S. Loved your comment that anyone can be a Mother figure. We had a lady that didn't want to attend our Mother Daughter luncheon at church. Finally the women told her, but you're still a daughter and a Mother figure to many girls here at church.

It was lovely having a nice long chat and sharing your adventures ❤ Frannie is so chic. And Agi is awesome! My Maire is coming along, but the weather is getting too warm for wearing when it's done. One son came to visit yesterday, the other son called, and my daughter called to set a date to watch the new Barbie movie when it comes out 😂 Hubby took me out for steak dinner, and it was a lovely day. Hoping Sophia gets to feeling healthy soon.

HiJana. Your blue cardigan you are wearing is beautiful. The lace on the bottom is so nice and artistic. Your trip with your husband for the weekend was very relaxing for you and gave you a break. The scenery of the lake is beautiful. We have a few lakes in Raleigh, NC, are also nice; and I go to Lake Johnson and sit on a bench surrounded by tall trees and I knit while I am looking at the rippling waves of the water of the lake. The sheep for Sofia ( don’t know if that is her spelling, because the other spelling is Sophia) is gorgeous. You are so talented, Jana. Take Care. 😊

1. It absolutely makes sense to have a moth plate. If moths pass by looking for a place to settle down, they will see your plate and believe, that yours is already occupied.

Dear Jana, thank you for another great episode. I love Agi and Frannie. They are adorable. I had to laugh when you talked about your urge to move furniture: I know the feeling: We ´ve been moving very often when our children were small and even if it was stressful it also was always great to beeing able to start new. So now I need to move some furniture around sometime to recreate this feeling. I am glad that you and your husband had a good time together - it is so important to spend some time just as a couple (and not as parents) from time to time! Sending you best wishes, love Christina
Your weekend away looked so relaxing and peaceful. Thank you for sharing footage of the beautiful scenery. It reminds me of the northern areas in my state, Michigan, with the very tall trees and water everywhere. I was so glad to see that Miss Franny was able to travel along. She is so stylish and seems to always mind her manners.
Thank you! Several people have mentioned that Finland and Michigan has a lot in common. Probably that's why so many Finns chose to settle there. If just felt like home.
I need the lamb. I am fine with crocheting toys but not knitting. Love going on your outings with you. I can't move furniture, but I did cast on a few things this week. Mother's day was today too. But being mom doesn't stop when the kids grow up. My 42 year old son is in the hospital with asthma so I have spent the last several days with him. But I have gotten lots of crocheting and knitting time.

Love the trip footage so much, thank you. One of my favorite sweaters I knitted from a magazine, not sure if I still have it in the boxes from when I moved...have looked on line, not found it yet so that means dealing with the boxes... I may never see you again..

If you haven’t watched her channel before, you might enjoy Tina from Simply in Stitches’ recent travel vlog to France and Spain - she also took a knitted friend on her travels (I’d recommend banning Agi and Frannie from watching it, they’ll only get ideas and I’m not sure that they are old enough for such shenanigans!).

Kiitos Jana for a splendid broadcast. I loved every minute of it and it's lovely to see the change in the weather. Oh how I wish I was well enough to visit Finland again so your filming of the countryside and the lakes helps me so much. That hotel is so amazing. A few years ago I visited my son and my biggest memory is of the controversy about lupins!!! I can remember it was a big thing on the radio as we travelled about. I was there for Midsummer but the weather was so cold that year. I love lupins by the way. love to you all Jenny.
